Andria Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Andria, Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Andria in Apulia, Italy, which up to 2009 was in the Province of Bari but from then onwards part of the newly formed Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani. It is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and is the seat of the Bishop of Andria.

Andria (Italian: Stazione di Andria) is a railway station in the Italian town of Andria, in the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, Apulia. The station lies on the Bari–Barletta railway. The train services are operated by Ferrotramviaria. On 12 July 2016, a train crash occurred between Andria and Corato.

The Challenge of Barletta (Italian: Disfida di Barletta) was a duel fought in the countryside of Trani, near Barletta, Southern Italy, on 13 February 1503, during the Third Italian War, on the plains between Corato and Andria.

The Andria–Corato train collision happened late in the morning of 12 July 2016 when two regional passenger trains on a single-track section of the Bari–Barletta railway collided head-on between the towns of Andria and Corato in the Apulia region of southern Italy. Twenty-three people were killed and 54 injured. The stretch of track is operated by regional rail company Ferrotramviaria.

Barletta Scalo (Italian: Stazione di Barletta Scalo) is a railway station in the Italian town of Barletta, in the Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani, Apulia. The station lies on the Bari–Barletta railway. The train services are operated by Ferrotramviaria.

Barletta railway station (Italian: Stazione di Barletta) is the main station serving the city and comune of Barletta, in the region of Apulia, southern Italy. Opened in 1864, it forms part of the Adriatic Railway (Ancona–Lecce), and is also a junction station for two other, regional, lines, the Barletta–Spinazzola railway, and the Bari–Barletta railway, operated by Ferrotramviaria. In the past, the station was also connected with the Port of Barletta, by a line ending at Barletta Marittima railway station, but that connection is now closed. The station is currently managed by Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI). However, the commercial area of the passenger building is managed by Centostazioni. Train services on the Adriatic Railway and the Barletta–Spinazzola railway are operated by Trenitalia. Each of these companies is a subsidiary of Ferrovie dello Stato (FS), Italy's state-owned rail company. Services on the Ferrovie del Nord Barese are operated by Ferrotramviaria (FT).

The Province of Barletta-Andria-Trani is a province of Italy in the Apulia region. The establishment of the province took effect in June 2009, and Andria was appointed as its seat of government on 21 May 2010.It was created from 10 municipalities (comuni), which were formerly in the provinces of Bari and Foggia, taking its name from the three cities which share the new province's administrative functions. The total population of the 10 municipalities comprising the new province was 383,018 at the 2001 census.

The Church of the Holy Family (Italian: Chiesa della Sacra Famiglia) is a Catholic place of worship located in the territory of the Italian municipality of Barletta, in the province of Barletta-Andria-Trani in Apulia. It is a parish complex built in the 1990s in Via Canosa, replacing the church building erected in the early 20th century in the Borgovilla-Patalini district, more precisely in Via Trento. The original church still exists, although it is closed to the public due to its precarious structural condition.

The Via Canosa 7 building collapse was a deadly accident that occurred in Barletta, Italy on September 16, 1959. 58 people were killed and 12 injured in the structural collapse of a five-story housing complex just one-year old. The collapse was caused by major faults in building procedures and safety standards; one effect was to put the whole Italian construction industry under scrutiny.
