The Phoebe the Flamingo statue, officially named "HOME", and also known as the Tampa International Airport Flamingo, is a work of public art by American artist Matthew Mazzotta. It is located at the Central Terminal of the Tampa International Airport in Tampa, Florida. The statue received its name, "Phoebe," through a community vote.

Steinbrenner Field, formerly known as Legends Field, is a baseball stadium located in Tampa, Florida, across the Dale Mabry Highway from Raymond James Stadium, the home of the National Football League's Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The ballpark was built in 1996 and seats 11,026 people, with an addition in right field built in 2007. It is the largest spring training ballpark in Florida. George M. Steinbrenner Field serves as the home of the Tampa Tarpons, the New York Yankees' affiliate in the Florida State League, and is the Yankees' spring training home.

Tampa Stadium (nicknamed The Big Sombrero and briefly known as Houlihan's Stadium) was a large open-air stadium (maximum capacity about 74,000) located in Tampa, Florida, which opened in 1967 and was significantly expanded in 1974–75. The facility is most closely associated with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League, who played there from their establishment in 1976 until 1997. It also hosted two Super Bowls, in 1984 and 1991, as well as the 1984 USFL Championship Game. Besides the Bucs, Tampa Stadium was home to the Tampa Bay Rowdies of the original North American Soccer League, the Tampa Bay Bandits of the United States Football League, the Tampa Bay Mutiny of Major League Soccer, and the college football programs of the University of Tampa and the University of South Florida. It also hosted many large concerts, and for a time, it held the record for the largest audience to ever see a single artist when a crowd of almost 57,000 witnessed a Led Zeppelin show in the facility in 1973. To meet the revenue demands of the Buccaneers' new owners, Raymond James Stadium was built nearby in 1998, and Tampa Stadium was demolished in early 1999.

The seating capacity for most sporting events is 69,218, though it can be expanded to about 75,000 for special events with the addition of temporary seating. Additionally, the stadium has hosted a wide variety of non-football events, including soccer matches, equestrian sports competitions, monster truck shows, and large concerts. It was also the site of WrestleMania 37 in April 2021.

Rocky Point is an area in Tampa Bay consisting of both areas within and around the city limits of Tampa, Florida. It is connected to mainland Tampa by the Courtney Campbell Causeway, which continues west across the bay to Clearwater. Tampa International Airport is located at the other end of the causeway about a mile east of Rocky Point. The nearest neighborhoods are Dana Shores, Pelican Island, Sweetwater, and Baycrest Park. Additionally, Westshore is to the southeast, and the Town 'n' Country area is to the north.
