Dudley railway station was a railway station in Dudley, Worcestershire, England, built where the Oxford-Worcester-Wolverhampton Line and the South Staffordshire Line diverged to Wolverhampton and Walsall and Lichfield respectively.

Dudley Central Mosque and Muslim Community Centre is a mosque and community centre in Dudley, England. It was established to advance the religion of Islam for the benefit of public by holding of the Congregational Prayers and religious lectures according to the Sunni Sect of Islam (Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat, Barelvi School of thought).

Dudley Freightliner Terminal was opened on the site of Dudley railway station in November 1967, as one of Freightliner's first rail terminals. It was an instant financial success and by 1981 was one of the most profitable Freightliner terminals in Britain, but Freightliner announced plans to close it and transfer the staff to the less successful Birmingham terminal. These plans were shelved in 1983 but resurfaced in 1986, with the terminal finally closing in September 1989. Trains continued to pass the site of the Freightliner terminal until the Wednesbury to Round Oak section of the South Staffordshire Line and Oxford, Worcester & Wolverhampton line closed in March 1993.

The Tipton Road cricket ground in Dudley, England was used for first-class cricket by Worcestershire CCC on 88 occasions between 1911 and 1971. The county also staged 14 List A games there between 1969 and 1977, all in the Sunday League, as well as a number of Second XI matches. One match of the 1982 ICC Trophy was played at Tipton Road, but the game between East Africa and West Africa was abandoned without a result after East Africa had reached 53/2 from 25.1 overs. On 25 May 1985, however, a 40-foot wide hole appeared on the cricket pitch, and Dudley council immediately closed the cricket pitch and the rest of the sports centre. The whole complex remained derelict until the late 1990s, when construction of the first buildings on the Castle Gate leisure and commercial complex began.

Dudley Castle is a ruined fortification in the town of Dudley, West Midlands, England. Originally a wooden motte and bailey castle built soon after the Norman Conquest, it was rebuilt as a stone fortification during the twelfth century but subsequently demolished on the orders of Henry II of England. Rebuilding of the castle took place from the second half of the thirteenth century and culminated in the construction of a range of buildings within the fortifications by John Dudley. The fortifications were slighted by order of the Parliament of England during the English Civil War and the residential buildings destroyed by fire in 1750. In the nineteenth and early twentieth century the site was used for fêtes and pageants. Today Dudley Zoo is located on its grounds. Its location, Castle Hill, is an outcrop of Wenlock Group limestone that was extensively quarried during the Industrial Revolution and which now, along with Wren's Nest Hill, is a scheduled monument of the best surviving remains of the limestone industry in Dudley. It is also a Grade I listed building. Localised structural problems lead to it being placed on Historic England's Heritage at Risk register in 2020.The Dudley Tunnel runs beneath Castle Hill, but not the castle itself.

Dudley Sports Centre was an outdoor sports centre located in Dudley, England. It was laid out at the end of the 19th century and expanded in 1928 with the construction of a football ground on the site; which became the home of Dudley Town F.C, the town’s football team. There was also a cricket pitch, athletics field and public playing field. Parts of the ground were affected by mining subsidence for much of the centre's existence. It was finally shut on 25 May 1985 when a 40-foot wide hole appeared on the cricket pitch. All subsequent plans for sports to return to the centre had to be abandoned due to ongoing problems with subsidence.By the early 1990s, Dudley Sports Centre was heavily overgrown and the site was fenced off for safety reasons, though no demolition work had yet taken place.

Dudley bus station is a bus station in Dudley, England. It is managed by Transport for West Midlands. Local bus and national coach services operated by various companies serve the bus station which has 19 departure stands. The arrival stand is A and also on surrounding streets and the departures stands are lettered B - U (excluding I and O). U is allocated to long distance coach services, which are mainly pre-booked. The original bus station was constructed along Birmingham Street on a steep hill overlooking Dudley Castle in about 1950. It was complemented by an additional line of shelters along neighbouring Fisher Street. However, a series on incidents of buses rolling back injuring passengers led to widespread local criticism of its design. This resulted in the West Midlands Passenger Transport Executive rebuilding the bus station on a completely level site along Fisher Street. Construction of the new bus station began during 1985 and it was opened in 1986.The original lay-over facilities on adjacent Portersfield still remain to this day, on part of what is now a public car park. As at September 2022, the 19 stands were served by 22 routes.The bus station is due to be redeveloped to create an interchange with the under construction West Midlands Metro line to Brierley Hill. Planning permission was granted in September 2022.

The Church of Saint Edmund is a Grade II* listed Anglo-Catholic parish church on Castle Street in the town of Dudley in the West Midlands County of England. It is known locally as "Bottom Church", as opposed to St Thomas's parish church in High Street which is known as "Top Church". The dedication is to the Anglo-Saxon King and Martyr, Edmund indicating the original church dated from the Anglo-Saxon period. Since Edmund died in 869 or 870 then the church must date from after this time, although there are no references to the church before the twelfth century. At the front of the present church are two sculptures showing a metal crown pierced by arrows – referring to the martyrdom of Edmund. In 1190, it was noted as being within the possession of Dudley Priory. In 1646, during the English Civil War, Colonel Leveson ordered the demolition of the church. As a result, residents in the parish congregated at St. Thomas's Church in Dudley, which was repaired, and the parishes united. St. Edmund's Church was subsequently rebuilt and was completed circa 1724. The reconstruction of the church was paid for by brothers Richard and George Bradley and by subscriptions from the parishioners. It was built of red brick with stone dressings and consisted of a chancel, nave, aisles, south porch and an embattled west tower. The tradition of the church is Anglo-Catholic.

St Thomas's Community Network is a community facility which serves the St Thomas's parish of Dudley, West Midlands, England. The opportunity for a large community centre in the Kates Hill area was on the horizon in October 1988, when Dudley council confirmed that the Blue Coat School on Beechwood Road (a building which had started life in 1929 as Rosland Secondary School) would be merging with The Dudley School in the town centre with effect from September 1989 to form Castle High School, and that the Beechwood Road buildings would close in July 1990 after a year as the Castle High annexe. The dream of a community centre for one of the most deprived areas of Dudley became reality in 1991, when St Thomas's Community Network opened at Beechwood Road. It offers youth club facilities to children and teenagers, as well as educational support to young people who require assistance with literacy, numeracy or English as a second language. A qualified tutor is employed for these sessions. This education support was a particularly important asset in the St Thomas's area, as it has a larger percentage of Asian residents. Despite campaigns by local residents, the centre closed in September 2015 and was demolished just over a year later.

Rosland Secondary School was a secondary school located in Dudley, England. It was built in 1932 to serve the expanding Kates Hill area of the town, and closed in 1970. Its buildings became part of The Blue Coat School, previously based several hundred yards away in Bean Road, until the entire school moved to the Rosland site in 1981. It remained in use as a school until July 1990, a year after the Blue Coat School had merged with The Dudley School to form Castle High, with the old Rosland building being used as an annexe to Castle High for the oldest two year groups of former Blue Coat pupils. It is now a community centre owned by St Thomas's Community Network.

Kates Hill, or Kate's Hill, is a residential area in Dudley, West Midlands, England.

The Church of St John the Evangelist, also known as St John's, is a Church of England church, in the Kates Hill area of Dudley, England. It opened in 1840 and closed in 2002 on safety grounds. The church reopened in 2016.It was Grade II listed by English Heritage on 21 May 2009.
