20-30 Bromfield Street is a historic commercial row in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. It is significant as being one of the few surviving 19th century commercial granite structures in the downtown area.

Pendleton's Lithography (1825–1836) was a lithographic print studio in 19th-century Boston, Massachusetts, established by brothers William S. Pendleton (1795-1879) and John B. Pendleton (1798-1866). Though relatively short-lived, in its time the firm was prolific, printing portraits, landscape views, sheet music covers, and numerous other illustrations. The Pendleton's work might be characterized by its generosity—each print contains a maxima of visual information designed for graphic reproduction.

The Wesleyan Building (est.1870) of Boston, Massachusetts, is located on Bromfield Street in the vicinity of Downtown Crossing. Architects Joseph Billings and Hammatt Billings designed it as the headquarters of the Methodist Boston Wesleyan Association. Tenants have included the New-England Methodist Historical Society; Zion's Herald; Woman's Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church; Boston Lyceum Bureau; Boston Theological Seminary; Boston University School of Law; Emerson College of Oratory; and Hudl. By 1912 the Methodists had moved to a new building on Copley Square.

The I.J. Fox Building is a historic commercial building located at 407 Washington Street in Downtown Boston, Massachusetts.

The Boston Aquarial Gardens (1859-1860) was a public aquarium in Boston, Massachusetts, established by James Ambrose Cutting and Henry D Butler. The "conservatories [were] filled with rare marine animals imported and collected exclusively for this establishment; ... a perfect and striking illustration of life beneath the waters." The business was located on Bromfield Street in the Financial District. In 1860 it moved to a new facility nearby, on Central Court, off Washington Street, and re-opened as the Boston Aquarial and Zoological Gardens.

The Orpheum Theatre is a music venue located at 1 Hamilton Place in Boston, Massachusetts. One of the oldest theaters in the United States, it was built in 1852 and was originally known as the Boston Music Hall, the original home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The concert hall was converted for use as a vaudeville theater in 1900. It was renamed the Orpheum Theatre in 1906. In 1915, the Orpheum was acquired by Loew's Theatres and substantially rebuilt. It operates as a mixed-use hall, primarily for live music concerts. The theater has no connection with Boston's Music Hall, currently known as the Wang Theatre.

The Boston Music Hall was a concert hall located on Winter Street in Boston, Massachusetts, with an additional entrance on Hamilton Place.One of the oldest continuously operating theaters in the United States, it was built in 1852 and was the original home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra. The hall closed in 1900 and was converted into a vaudeville theater named the Orpheum Theatre. The Orpheum, which still stands today, was substantially rebuilt in 1915 by architect Thomas W. Lamb as a movie theater. The hall has no connection with Boston's "Music Hall", a theater which is now known as the Wang Theatre.

The Province House (1679–1864) was a 17th-century mansion on old Marlborough Street in Boston, Massachusetts. Built in 1679, it was the home of merchant Peter Sergeant, and after 1716, the official residence of royal governors of the Province of Massachusetts Bay. Known for its great main staircase and original Tudor-style chimney stacks, the building fell into disrepair in the 19th century, partially burned in 1864, and was demolished in 1922.It has been considered one of the grandest examples of New England colonial architecture. However, only artist drawings of its outside elevation exist today, as well as photographs of its demolition in 1922. The 18th-century artist rendering shown here depicts the residence after the chimney stacks and ornate gables had been removed, in the earlier part of that century. A portion of the stone steps leading from the present street to the former garden remain.

Ordway Hall (est.1852) was a theatre in Boston, Massachusetts located off Washington Street in the former Province House. John P. Ordway established and managed the hall, which specialized in "negro minstrelsy," particularly the Ordway Aeolians, his own troupe.

Millennium Tower is a 60-story, 684-foot-tall (208 m) residential skyscraper in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Construction began in 2013 at the site of the former flagship store for Filene's in Downtown Crossing and was completed in 2016. As of 2020, it is the fourth tallest building in Boston. The building contains 442 condominiums, a Roche Bros. grocery store and Class A office space. Limited occupancy by residents began in July 2016.

Filene's Department Store was a department store building at 426 Washington Street in Downtown Crossing, Boston, Massachusetts. It was the flagship store of the Filene's department store chain. The building has been renovated and now serves as the offices for Havas and Arnold Worldwide. The building is maintained as part of the Millennium Tower. It is now home to fast fashion retailer, Primark.
