Villa Theatre

Graystone Pines is a condominium building located at 2730 Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. It was built in 1960 and was the first condominium built in the United States. Keith Romney acted as legal counsel for the building developers.

The Midwives College of Utah, formerly the Utah School of Midwifery, is an institution of direct-entry midwifery training that is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah but offers all programs completely online. Founded in 1980, it is one of the largest and longest-standing direct-entry (out-of-hospital) midwifery programs in the nation. It has been accredited through the Midwifery Education Accreditation Council (MEAC) since 1996, which is approved by the U.S. Secretary of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency. The school is also accepted by the California Medical Board for state licensure. The college offers a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery and a Master of Science in Midwifery. Students are eligible to take the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) exam upon graduation and receive the designation of Certified Professional Midwife (CPM).

The Robert Gardner Jr. House, in Millcreek, Utah, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2018 and is located at 1475 E. Murphy's Ln. in Millcreek. Built in 1848, is likely the oldest standing European American structure in the state of Utah, dating to the year of the Mexican cession of the Alta California region to the United States following the Mexican-American War.Robert Gardner Jr. was born in Scotland and kept a journal during his time in Utah which survives.

Highland Park is a neighborhood in Salt Lake City, just south of downtown Sugar House. The community originally was named for its lofty elevation. A large part of the neighborhood's core is recognized as the Highland Park Historic District. There is a small amount of retail along Highland Drive, but the area is otherwise residential. Forest Dale Golf Course forms the western boundary, Fairmont Park is to the northwest, and Sugar House Park and Highland High School are to the northeast separated from Highland Park by an underground reservoir and the 1300 East-Interstate 80 interchange.

The Amanda Conk Best House, at 3622 South 1100 East in Millcreek, Utah, was built in 1896. Also known as the Boyle House, as the Beal House, and as the Aoki House, it is a brick Queen Anne style house that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.It was built for Amanda James Conk Best, a polygamous wife of Alfred Best, and is important as an unusual example for its time and place, as a large Queen Anne style house built out in rural Salt Lake County.It has a twin, the Barlow House in the Avenues Historic District in Salt Lake City.

St. Mark's Hospital is a 317-bed short-term acute care hospital located in Millcreek, Utah, in the United States. St. Mark's has provided medical services to Salt Lake Valley since its founding in 1872.St. Mark's is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and is a Level II trauma center as verified by the American College of Surgeons. It is classified as a general medical and surgical facility, and is a teaching hospital. St. Mark's hospital has 317 licensed beds, more than 600 physician medical staff, and over 1,500 employees and volunteers. It handles more than 80,000 outpatient visits, 15,000 inpatient admissions, more than 15,000 surgeries annually, as well as more than 3,500 deliveries a year.

Sugar House Prison, previously the Utah Territorial Penitentiary, was a prison in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The 180-acre (73 ha) prison housed more than 400 inmates. It was closed in 1951 due to encroaching housing development, and all of its inmates were moved to the new Utah State Prison in Draper. The site is now occupied by Sugar House Park and Highland High School.

Sugar House Park, also known as Sugarhouse Park, is located between I-80, 2100 South, 1300 East, and 1700 East in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, United States. The 110-acre (45 ha) park is at the heart of the Sugar House neighborhood. It was the site of a fireworks show and concert every Independence Day (July 4), but the event was discontinued in 2018 due to environmental, logistical, and financial reasons. It is a popular sledding location in the winter. The park was the location of Sugar House Prison, Utah's first state prison, until 1951 when the current prison was opened in Draper.

Fairmont (1040 East) is a streetcar stop in the Sugar House neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah, served by Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) S Line (previously known as the Sugar House Streetcar). The S Line provides service from this station to the city of South Salt Lake (where it connects with UTA's TRAX light rail system).

Millcreek is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States, and is part of the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population as of the 2020 Census was 63,380. Prior to its incorporation on December 28, 2016, Millcreek was a census-designated place (CDP) and township.

Highland High School is a high school in Salt Lake City, in the U.S. state of Utah, that opened in 1956 and has a student body of 1,546. It is located at 2166 South 1700 East, next to Sugar House Park, and is part of the Salt Lake City School District. The current principal is Jeremy Chatterton.

Sugar House is a neighborhood in Salt Lake City, Utah. The name is officially two words, although it is often colloquially written as "Sugarhouse." As a primary commercial and residential hub of the region, it is often referred to as Salt Lake's "Second Downtown." Once a primarily residential area with a suburban-style retail hub, the neighborhood has transformed in recent years as mid-rise offices, residential blocks, and hotels have been constructed in the vicinity of Sugar House Park. Sugar House is the site of Westminster College.
