Paradise Wildlife Park

Danemead is a 5.6-hectare nature reserve west of Hoddesdon in Hertfordshire, managed by the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust. It is part of the Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood North Site of Special Scientific Interest.The site has hornbeam woodland, damp acid grassland, a stream, scrub and valley mire. There are many butterflies and wild flowers, including meadowsweet and devil's-bit scabious.The entrance is on a section of Ermine Street, formerly a major Roman road and now a bridleway. Access is from the Ermine Street carpark on Cock Lane. There is a gate on Cock Lane to a private estate called Danemead Scout Campsite which is closed to the public, and the nature reserve is behind the private estate.

Wormleybury is an 18th-century house surrounded by a landscaped park of 57 ha (140 acres) near Wormley in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, England, a few miles north of Greater London. The house was rebuilt in the 1770s from an earlier house built in 1734. The house is a Grade I listed building. The garden is well known for its historic rare plant collection. There is a crescent shaped lake in the grounds, bordered by woods on three sides.

Broxbournebury Manor is a country club in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, England. It is a building of historical significance and is listed on the English Heritage Register. It was originally a courtyard house built in the 16th Century with major alterations and additions in the 18th and 19th Centuries.

Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood South is a 192.5 hectares (476 acres) is a biological site of Special Scientific Interest near Cheshunt in Hertfordshire. It is part of Broxbourne Woods National Nature Reserve, and is listed in A Nature Conservation Review. Wormley Wood is owned and managed by the Woodland Trust. The site is also a Special Area of Conservation.The site is oak and hornbeam woodland mainly on London clay. Plants in the variable ground flora include brambles, wood anemones and bluebells. Other habitats include marshland and acidic grassland.White Stubbs Lane runs along the northern edge of the site.

Wormleybury Brook is a tributary of the River Lea which rises in the hills south of White Stubbs Lane in Hertfordshire, England.

Top Field and Cozens Grove is a 6.1 hectare Local Nature Reserve in Wormley in Hertfordshire. It is owned and managed by Broxbourne Borough Council.Top Field (also known as Wormley Top Field) is a wildflower meadow which is mown to provide a habitat for small mammals, birds and insects. In 2014 it was given the Green Flag Award. Cozens Grove is an ancient wood which has coppiced hornbeam and a medieval sunken ditch.In 2010 Broxbourne Council proposed to remove the site from the Green Belt, which would have laid it open to development, but the proposal was dropped after campaigning by the Friends of Wormley Open Spaces.There is access from Cozens Lane West.

Wormley Rovers Football Club is a football club based in Wormley, Hertfordshire. They are currently members of the Eastern Counties League Division One South and play at Wormley Playing Fields.

Cheshunt Park is a 40 hectare public park and Local Nature Reserve in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire. It is owned and managed by Broxbourne Borough Council.The history of the park goes back to Roman times and was crossed by Ermine Street. It was originally the park of Cheshunt Great House. It is grass and woodland which has ancient hedgerows, wildflower meadows, a pond and an orchard which is cropped by traditional cattle breeds. It has car parking, a playground, toilets and a café.There is access from Park Lane.

The Broxbourne School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, England. The school began life in 1959 with just under 50 pupils as a grammar school (Broxbourne Grammar School) under the headmastership of Ian Laydon. In 1969 the school became a comprehensive school. The school was converted to academy status in February 2012. It had been a community school under the direct control of Hertfordshire County Council. The school continues to coordinate with the council for admissions. The Broxbourne School offers General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSEs) and Business and Technology Education Council (BTECs) as courses of study for pupils, with A Levels offered in the sixth form. The school also offers the Duke of Edinburgh's Award as an activity for pupils.

Broxbourne Woods are a 239.1 hectare National Nature Reserve west of Broxbourne in Hertfordshire. The site is Hertfordshire's only National Nature Reserve, and is also a Special Area of Conservation. It covers Hoddesdonpark Wood, Wormley Wood, Broxbourne Wood and Bencroft Wood. Bencroft and Broxbourne are owned by Hertfordshire County Council, and Hoddesdonpark and Wormley Woods by the Woodland Trust. They are all in Sites of Special Scientific Interest; Wormley Wood and Bencroft Wood form almost all of Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood South, and Hoddesdonpark Wood and Broxbourne Wood are part of Wormley-Hoddesdonpark Wood North.The site is a large area of sessile oak and hornbeam woodland with diverse wildlife Flowers include bluebells, and invertebrates the rare purple emperor butterfly.There is access to Hoddesdonpark Wood from Lord Street, to Broxbourne Wood from Pembridge Lane, and to Wormley and Bencroft Woods from White Stubbs Lane.

Rags Brook is a tributary of the Small River Lea, which is a tributary of the River Lea. Rags Brook rises in the hills between Goffs Oak Cuffley in Hertfordshire, England. Brookfield Lane follows the course of the brook and the Brookfield Centre reflects the brook in its name. The highest river level recorded at Rosedale Way, Cheshunt was 1.57 metres and the river level reached 1.57 metres on 11/06/2012. The brook runs through Cuffley and Cheshunt before converging with Turnford Brook in the area known as Cheshunt Wash, before joining the Small River Lea.
