Lehel tér metro station

Újlipótváros ("New Leopold Town") is a neighborhood in the 13th district of Budapest, Hungary. It is located north to Lipótváros ("Leopold Town") neighbourhood of the 5th District, with the Szent István Boulevard (Szent István körút) separating it from its southern neighbor, Lipótváros. It lies east of the river Danube, west of Terézváros, and south of Vizafogó. Unlike most other neighborhoods in the 13th district, Újlipótváros is considered part of the Budapest city center.

The Westend Shopping Center is a shopping centre built by Hungarian TriGránit Ltd. located next to the Western Railway Station, in Budapest, Hungary. Opened on 12 November 1999, it is known for having been the largest mall in Central Europe until larger ones were inaugurated, including Arena Plaza, also in Pest. Dózsa György út is a station on the Budapest Metro Line 3 (North-South). It is located beneath Váci Avenue at its intersection with the eponymous street Dózsa György út. The station was opened on 7 November 1984 as part of the extension from Lehel tér to Árpád híd.

Nyugati pályaudvar (Western Railway Station) is a station on the M3 (North-South) line of the Budapest Metro. It is nominally located on the borders of District V, District VI and District XIII, the station itself is under Váci Road at between its intersections with Grand Boulevard and Katona József Street. The station was opened on 30 December 1981 as part of the extension of the line from Deák Ferenc tér to Lehel tér. Its name was Marx tér (Marx Square) before 1990. The station is one of the busiest on the line, as it provides connections to tram lines 4 and 6 on Grand Boulevard, including access to Buda via Margit Bridge. Also, it serves the adjacent namesake Nyugati Railway Station (regional and international lines).

Budapest Nyugati station (Hungarian: Nyugati pályaudvar; lit. 'western railway station'), generally referred to simply as Nyugati, is one of the three main railway terminals in Budapest, Hungary. The station is on the Pest side of Budapest, accessible by the 4 and 6 tramline and the M3 metro line.

The Dózsa György Street Synagogue Budapest XIII. district synagogue. Originally used as a synagogue, the building is now used by the Budapest Honved Fencing Hall, and the religious building continues in a smaller building formerly used as a cultural hall under the religious guidance of Rabbi Peter Deutsch.

House of Terror is a museum located at Andrássy út 60 in Budapest, Hungary. It contains exhibits related to the fascist and communist regimes in 20th-century Hungary and is also a memorial to the victims of these regimes, including those detained, interrogated, tortured or killed in the building. The museum opened on 24 February 2002 and the Director-General of the museum since then has been Dr Mária Schmidt. The House of Terror is a member organization of the Platform of European Memory and Conscience. Visitors including Zbigniew Brzezinski, Francis Fukuyama and Hayden White have praised the Museum.

Vörösmarty utca (Vörösmarty street) is a station of the yellow M1 (Millennium Underground) line of the Budapest Metro. It was opened on 2 May 1896 as part of the inaugural section of the Budapest Metro, between Vörösmarty tér and Széchenyi fürdő. This section, known as the Millennium Underground Railway, was the first metro system in continental Europe. In 2002, it was included into the World Heritage Site "Budapest, including the Banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter and Andrássy Avenue".

Terézváros (English: Theresa Town, German: Theresienstadt) is the District VI of Budapest, and was named after Queen Maria Theresa in 1777, who visited the neighbourhood 26 years earlier in 1751. The territory was first inhabited in the early 18th century when the old town of Pest (today: Inner City) was already fully built, so that people had to inhabit lands outside the city. Terézváros was one of the ten districts that were formed when the city of Budapest was created in 1873. Today Terézváros is the second in population density after the neighbouring Erzsébetváros. Terézváros is meanwhile the second smallest district (also the first being Erzsébetváros). Both districts are famous for their night life.

The Budapest Puppet Theater (Hungarian: Budapest Bábszínház) has been open since 1949, with its primary venue currently situated at 69 Andrássy út, Budapest. Since then, both children and adults are warmly welcome to their performances, because they have a motto that “the puppet is not the matter of age, but a genre.”

The Hunyadi Square Market Hall or Market Hall IV was built in 1897, according to the plans of Győző Czigler in the Terézváros district of Budapest. It is similar in style to the other five market halls built almost simultaneously. Powered by the Public Works Council, these were built by the capital. The exterior façade is decorated with plaster stucco elements on the wall pillars. Satin heads, semi-circular windows, satin heads, palmetto ornaments and lion heads decorate the eaves. The hall space is a three-nave, basilic arrangement. During the time of the Hungarian People's Republic, there were many trommel interiors in the interior, but the original cofastand with its cast iron ornaments and grilles still survives in the side ships. The interior of the hall is also relatively intact. The steel supports of the roof structure are elliptical and riveted. The building, which was in a very dilapidated state, was renovated in 2019.

The Hungarian University of Fine Arts (Hungarian: Magyar Képzőművészeti Egyetem, MKE) is the central Hungarian art school in Budapest, Andrássy Avenue. It was founded in 1871 as the Hungarian Royal Drawing School (Magyar Királyi Mintarajztanoda) and has been called University of Fine Arts since 2001.
