The Plymouth Post Office is a historic one-story building in Plymouth, Wisconsin. It was designed in the PWA Moderne by supervising architect Louis A. Simon, and built in 1941. Inside, there is a mural by Charles W. Thwaites depicting cheese making, the main industry in Plymouth. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 24, 2000.

Hotel Laack is a historic three-story building in Plymouth, Wisconsin. It was built as a hotel for businessman Henry Christopher Laack in 1892, and designed in the Queen Anne style by architect Charles Hilpertshauser. The son of a German immigrant, Laack first built houses and commercial buildings in Plymouth, including a Gothic Revival structure behind the hotel in 1889. When Laack built the Hotel Laack three years later, he already owned Commercial House, another hotel and saloon. The building has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since December 2, 1985.

The Henry H. Huson House and Water Tower are two historic structures located in Plymouth, Wisconsin. They were both listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 28, 1980.

Plymouth is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin. The population was 3,115 at the time of the 2000 census. It is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. The City of Plymouth is located within the town, but is politically independent. The unincorporated community of New Paris is also located in the town.

Plymouth Comprehensive High School (commonly referred to as Plymouth High School) is a public comprehensive high school located in Plymouth, Wisconsin. It serves grades 9-12 and is part of the Plymouth Joint School District. The school is part of the East Central Conference for WIAA athletics. With an enrollment of approximately 800 students and 53 full-time teachers, Plymouth High School has a 94 percent graduation rate. More than two-thirds of Plymouth graduates pursue higher education. Plymouth High School also offers college credit courses.

WGXI (1420 AM) is a radio station licensed to Plymouth, Wisconsin and serving the Sheboygan County area, which features a classic country/rock hybrid format under the branding "Cow Country 1420AM 98.5FM". WGXI is affiliated with the Midwest Farm Report, Bill Baker's Dairy Minute, weather forecasts from WISN-TV in Milwaukee, and carries Plymouth High School boys varsity football. The station's studios are located on WI 57 North just east of Plymouth, with its transmitter behind the studio building. WGXI also utilizes an FM translator station, W253CW (98.5), which also broadcasts from the same facility and allows a clear stereo signal to be carried at all hours throughout most of Sheboygan County. Additionally, Galaxy Broadcasting operates WCLB (950), licensed to Sheboygan, as a simulcast of WGXI's programming under an operating agreement with that station's owner, Mountain Dog Media, to serve the eastern portion of Sheboygan County. WCLB is translated via FM on W297CK (107.3), also licensed to Sheboygan. WCLB's AM transmitter is located in Sheboygan Falls, with W297CK's transmitter located behind the Sheboygan County Detention Center on Sheboygan's south side.

Winooski was a hamlet in the Town of Lyndon in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States, at 43° 42.423′ N, 87° 59.039′ W. It was named after Winooski, Vermont, home of James and Lucinda Stone, who were the town's first settlers in 1846.

Road America is a motorsport road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin on Wisconsin Highway 67. It has hosted races since the 1950s and currently hosts races in the IndyCar Series, IMSA SportsCar Championship, Sports Car Club of America GT World Challenge America and Trans-Am Series and the MotoAmerica Superbike Championship.

The 2004 Grand Prix of Road America was the eighth round of the 2004 Bridgestone Presented the Champ Car World Series Powered by Ford season, held on August 8, 2004 at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Sébastien Bourdais won the pole and Alex Tagliani won the race, his first and only win in his Champ Car/IndyCar career.

Formula Vee is one of the oldest classes in SCCA and competed in the first SCCA National Championship Runoffs.Formula Vee was first introduced at the Runoffs in 1964 at Riverside International Raceway. The first edition was won by Lewis Kerr. The following decades saw many racing drivers compete in various different racing chassis. Michael Varacins is the most successful driver in the class winning seven times, at five different tracks. Varacins also builds his own chassis.During the early years of the class the Zink were far superior winning five straight; the chassis won ten total championships. The Lynx chassis name was later changed to Caracal. The Lynx/Caracal chassis has won the most of any other chassis at twelve championships. Later in the class history, the introduction of the Vortech chassis in 2001 started an era of dominance. The chassis type won the race eight consecutive years in a row with three different drivers.

The June Sprints are amateur sports car races held yearly on the third or fourth weekend of June at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. The event was first held in 1956 as a round of the SCCA National Sports Car Championship, as a shorter-format alternative to the Road America 500. The June Sprints are hosted by the Chicago Region of the Sports Car Club of America. Unlike the SCCA National Championship Runoffs (held at Road America between 2009 and 2013), the June Sprints are open to any nationally licensed driver in good standing with the SCCA.

The 2001 Motorola 220 was a Championship Auto Racing Teams (CART) motor race held on August 19, 2001, at the Road America circuit in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. It was the 14th race of the 2001 CART season, and the 19th annual edition of the event. Chip Ganassi Racing's Bruno Junqueira who started from tenth position won the 45-lap race. Michael Andretti finished second for Team Green and Fernández Racing driver Adrian Fernández was third. Kenny Bräck took pole position by posting the fastest lap in qualifying, and held the lead until the race was stopped because of a flooded track on the backstraight. After a 47-minute delay to address the problem, the race restarted with Hélio Castroneves leading after a switch onto slick tires at his first pit stop before it was stopped. Castroneves led a race-high 24 laps until his final pit stop for fuel to reach the end of the race. Christian Fittipaldi assumed the lead, keeping it until he and Michael Andretti made contact, allowing Junqueira into first. Junqueira maintained the lead for the rest of the race to achieve his first CART victory. There were six cautions and two lead changes among three different drivers. The result of the race left Castroneves as the new Drivers' Championship leader; Bräck fell to the second position with five points separating him and Castroneves. Gil de Ferran maintained the third position, Andretti's second-place result advanced him from fifth to fourth, and Scott Dixon took fifth from Dario Franchitti. Honda increased their advantage over Toyota in the Manufacturers' Championship to 35 points while Ford Cosworth dropped to third. Lola lowered Reynard's advantage at the top of the Constructors' Championship to 37 points with seven races left in the season.
