Danescourt is a cricket ground in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. The ground is located along the Danescourt Road, off of the A41 Road. It has played host to a Women's One Day International, in addition to playing host to Staffordshire County Cricket Club in minor counties cricket.

Tettenhall is an historic village within the City of Wolverhampton, England. Tettenhall became part of Wolverhampton in 1966, along with Bilston, Wednesfield and parts of Willenhall, Coseley and Sedgley.

Tettenhall College is a co-educational private day and boarding school located in the Wolverhampton suburb of Tettenhall in England.

Tettenhall railway station was a station on the Wombourne Branch Line, serving the town of Tettenhall in the West Midlands of England. It was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1925 and closed in 1932. A significant number of station amenities were supplied but failed to improve patronage at the station, which ultimately led to its closure. The station site is a rarity in that, despite the removal of the line 33 years after the station closed, it is almost totally complete. Since 2014, the building has been home to a tea room named 'Cupcake Lane' having previously been a park ranger station. The goods depot behind the station is now a small transport museum. The station is also the start and the northern end of the South Staffordshire Railway Walk which carries on down towards Wombourne railway station and onto Gornal Halt railway station.

Hail to the Ale is a micropub at Claregate, Wolverhampton, WV6 9JN. The pub is owned by Gary and Angela Morton of Morton Brewery, based in nearby Essington, Staffordshire. The pub was the first micropub to open in the West Midlands, opening on 5 September 2013 in a building that was previously occupied by the former Claregate Post Office and an antiques shop. Hail to the Ale won the Campaign for Real Ale's Wolverhampton City Pub of the Year for five years in a row in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019 as well as the Campaign for Real Ale's West Midlands Regional Pub of the Year [2015], West Midlands County Pub of the Year awards [2015 & 2017] and Wolverhampton CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year [2018]. The micropub was also named in the Daily Telegraph's Thirsty Thirty pubs list, picked by the writers of the Pint to Pint column in the newspaper's Weekend supplement. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hail to the Ale operated a non-profit cash and carry of essential goods for the benefit of the local community.

The Sir Jack Hayward Training Ground is the training ground and academy base of English football club Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club. It is located in the Compton area of Wolverhampton. The modern two-storey building stands approximately one mile to the west of the club's home stadium Molineux, and features five high-quality under-soil heated training pitches, eleven changing rooms, a fully equipped gymnasium, and a hydrotherapy pool – one of only a handful of English clubs to own such equipment. The training ground's medical and physiotherapy facilities made it the first British sports club to establish a fully accredited professional sports laboratory, based on AC Milan's Milanello model.The development opened in November 2005 at a cost £4.6 million and is named in honour of the club's Life President and former owner Sir Jack Hayward. It became the club's first owned training facility since they were forced to sell their training ground in the Castlecroft area of the city in the late 1980s due to financial difficulties. The plan was initiated by then-manager Graham Taylor in the mid-1990s but construction was not begun for some years.In July 2011, plans were announced for a redevelopment of the Compton Park area where the training ground is currently located that will enable Wolves to build a new indoor pitch and improve facilities to create a 'Category 1' Premier League football academy. The £50 million project involves the football club, the University of Wolverhampton, St Edmund's Catholic Academy, the Archdiocese of Birmingham, and Redrow, the construction company founded by former Wolves owner Steve Morgan.

Wolverhampton South West is a constituency created in 1950 represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2019 by Stuart Anderson of the Conservative Party. It was represented by the Conservative Party for 47 years after its formation, with Labour winning it for the first time in their 1997 landslide victory. The Conservatives regained the seat in 2010, only for Labour to regain it at the next general election in 2015, before losing it again in 2019 to the Conservative Party. The constituency was held by Enoch Powell from 1950 to 1974, covering his unsuccessful bid for the Conservative Party leadership in 1965 and his controversial Rivers of Blood speech, which criticised mass immigration, especially Commonwealth immigration to Britain, in 1968.

St Edmund's Catholic Academy is a Roman Catholic secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in the Compton area of Wolverhampton, West Midlands England. The Building Schools for the Future program invested £7.9 million of its £300 million budget into improving the school. A further £5 million was contributed by Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club and Redrow Homes, which used parts of the site to create a training ground and new homes, respectively. The new school building was completed in September 2013.The name of the school comes from the influence of St. Edmund Campion (1540 – 1581), an English Jesuit priest and martyr. Its motto is "To Love and Serve the Lord".

Newbridge is a suburb of the city of Wolverhampton, West Midlands in England. It is situated north-west of the city centre, on the A41 Tettenhall Road.

The King's Church of England School is a mixed, Church of England, secondary school and sixth form located at Tettenhall, 2.5 miles (4.0 km) north-west of Wolverhampton City Centre, in the West Midlands county of England, in the United Kingdom. It was originally formed as The Regis School in 1955 until 1998 when it changed its name to The King's Church of England School. It was extensively rebuilt/refurbished in 2012 and can now accommodate up to 900 pupils.

St Peter's Collegiate Academy (formerly St Peter's Collegiate School) is a mixed Church of England secondary school and sixth form located in the Compton area of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. The school is named after Saint Peter, one of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. The school was established in 1844 and maintains strong links with St Peter's Collegiate Church. St Peter's Collegiate School became a voluntary aided school as a result of the Education Act 1944. In 2012 the school converted to academy status and was later renamed St Peter's Collegiate Academy. The school is administered by the Diocese of Lichfield. St Peter's Collegiate Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs.

Tettenhall Wood is a suburb of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It is west of Wolverhampton city centre, within the Tettenhall Wightwick ward. It sits high on a relatively steep hill and it is claimed that the Malvern Hills can be seen from some of the houses located in the area. To its west lies Wightwick, to its south Compton to its east Tettenhall. Also to its north lies the boundary of the West Midlands conurbation and also that of Wolverhampton metropolitan authority with South Staffordshire. The River Penk rises in the area, at Penk Rise Park.Tettenhall Wood is a largely residential area and is relatively affluent. It has a relatively low crime rate and a growing population of younger people. The area has two churches: Christ Church and the United Reformed Church. It has a small shopping district with a small local supermarket and one public house lie in the area. A local house of note "The Mount" is situated within the area; it was rebuilt in the late 19th century in English Renaissance style as the seat of the Mander family, baronets, who founded Mander Brothers, paint and varnish manufacturers, in 1773, and were noted public servants and philanthropists in Wolverhampton. The area is served by the 1 (Dudley via Wolverhampton) and 10 (Wolverhampton to Perton via Compton) bus routes, both operated by National Express West Midlands. The 109-year-old Tettenhall Wood Working Men's Institute (known locally as 'the Institute') is situated in the heart of Tettenhall Wood. The institute caters for local community groups and associations; unusually for such an organisation it is independent of the local council. Tettenhall Wood also has Christ Church Infants Nursery, which is located in the former Tettenhall Wood Library. Tettenhall Wood is no longer served by a mobile library.
