Camp Hill is a borough in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It is 3 miles (5 km) southwest of Harrisburg and is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle metropolitan statistical area. The population was 7,888 at the 2010 census. There are many large corporations based in nearby East Pennsboro Township and Wormleysburg that use the Camp Hill postal address, including the Rite Aid Corporation, Harsco Corporation, and Gannett Fleming.

The Camp Hill School District is a diminutive, suburban public school district serving the Borough of Camp Hill in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania At just 2 square miles (5.2 km2), Camp Hill is the smallest school district in Cumberland County and it is one of the smallest in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The district is so small it does not offer school bus transportation and instead encourages students to walk. According to the July 1, 2007 local tax rolls, it serves a resident population of 6,367. By 2010, the district's population increased to 7,903 people. The total median age was 43.0 years compared to 40.1 years in Pennsylvania. The educational attainment levels for the population 25 and over were 96.8% high school graduates and 47.6% college graduates. In 2009, Camp Hill School District residents' per capita income was $28,256, while the median family income was $303,000. Per district officials, it served 1,233 pupils in 2021.Per District officials, in school year 2007-08 the Camp Hill School District provided basic educational services to 1,137 pupils through the employment of 94 teachers, 81 full-time and part-time support personnel, and six administrators. In 2009–2010, the district provided basic educational services to 1,190 pupils. It employed: 98 teachers, 80 full-time and part-time support personnel, and seven administrators. Camp Hill School District received $2.5 million in state funding in the 2009–2010 school year.

Camp Hill High School is a coeducational public high school located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. It is part of the Camp Hill School District and is the smallest public high school in Cumberland County. It is located approximately ten minutes from the city of Harrisburg. It was founded in 1907 and has an enrollment of approximately 352 students in ninth through twelfth grades. The High School shares a building with Camp Hill Middle School, although classes, teachers, and even administrators are mostly shared.

Wormleysburg is a borough in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,070 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle Metropolitan Statistical Area. Wormleysburg is served by West Shore School District. The borough is home to Harsco Corporation.

Conodoguinet Creek is a 104-mile-long (167 km) tributary of the Susquehanna River in South central Pennsylvania in the United States. The name is Native American, and means "A Long Way with Many Bends".Conodoguinet Creek joins the Susquehanna River upstream of Harrisburg.The water divide between Conodoguinet Creek and Conococheague Creek is sometimes used as the boundary between the Hagerstown Valley and the Cumberland Valley. It flows past many mills, including Maclay's Mill. The Appalachian Trail crosses the creek near Carlisle.

West Fairview, formerly a borough, is now a census-designated place (CDP) located at the confluence of the Susquehanna River and the Conodoguinet Creek in East Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. As of the 2020 census, the village had a population of 1,138.

John Wormley House, also known as the Valentine Hummel House, is a historic home located in Wormleysburg in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1769 and is a 2+1⁄2-story, Log building with a tin roof, three bays wide and two bays deep. It has a two-story side frame addition. It faces the US Highways of 11 and 15. It is in a half-Georgian style. It was built by John Wormley, Jr., founder of Wormleysburg.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

Lemoyne is a borough in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States, which lies across the Susquehanna River from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania's capital. It is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle metropolitan statistical area. Lemoyne was incorporated as a borough on May 23, 1905. As of the 2010 census, the borough population was 4,553. Lemoyne is served by Interstate 83 and U.S. Routes 11/15. Lemoyne is a part of the West Shore School District.

The M. Harvey Taylor Bridge is a steel girder multilane highway bridge that spans the Susquehanna River at Harrisburg, the state capital. It connects central Harrisburg with the near suburbs on the West Shore. Built in the early 1950s, it was reconstructed and widened in 2001-04 to accommodate additional pedestrian walkways. The speed limit is 50 miles per hour (80 km/h). The Average Daily Traffic in 2016 was 28,139, only 2% of which was trucks. The bridge has never had a route designation.

The West Shore of the Harrisburg area is a group of western suburbs of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania in proximity to the right bank of the Susquehanna River. This distinct area is located mainly in eastern Cumberland County but also in SE Perry County and far northern York County. The substantial width of the river adjacent to Harrisburg contributes to the local perception of the existence of an East Shore and a West Shore. The West Shore Farmers Market is located in Lemoyne. The West Shore School District includes municipalities in Cumberland and York Counties.
