Montréal-Ouest station is a commuter rail station in the Montreal borough of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, adjacent to the border with the town of Montreal West, Quebec. It serves the Exo Vaudreuil-Hudson, Saint-Jérôme, and Candiac lines. Montréal-Ouest station is located in ARTM fare zone A, and has 20 parking spaces. It is the station where these three lines come together as one towards Lucien-L'Allier station.

Montreal West is a small, close-knit community made up primarily of single-family dwellings. The town is largely composed of families, with 77% of the population speaking English as their primary language at home, the highest percentage on the island. Sherbrooke Street, a major artery spanning most of the Island of Montreal, has its western terminus here, beginning at a T-intersection with the town's main street, Westminster Avenue.

It was established in 1896 by the Society of Jesus as part of Loyola College, at the request of the English Catholic community in Montreal. It is named after St. Ignatius of Loyola, who founded the Jesuit Order in 1534.

St. Ignatius Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, Montreal West, Quebec. It was founded by the Society of Jesus in 1917 as an English-speaking parish. It is next to Loyola High School and the Loyola Campus of Concordia University.

Ed Meagher Arena is an indoor ice hockey arena in the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce neighbourhood of Montreal, Quebec. It is the home arena for the Concordia Stingers women's and men's ice hockey teams. Opening in 1967, the arena was originally known as Loyola Arena. In 2000, it was renamed for Ed Meagher, who was an alumnus of Loyola College and the school's longtime athletic director. In 2012, it was announced that the arena would undergo a $6.5 million upgrade, funded jointly by the Quebec government and Concordia University. In 2013, the arena underwent renovations including the addition of a new rink surface that conforms to National Hockey League specifications.It was home to the Montreal Jofa Titan of the National Women's Hockey League for the 1998–99 season.

Loyola College was a Jesuit college in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It was founded in 1896 and ceased to exist as an independent institution in 1974 when it was incorporated into Concordia University. A portion of the original college remains as a separate entity called Loyola High School.

Ville Saint-Pierre is a small neighbourhood of the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, located in the Borough of Lachine. It was a separate town until it merged with Lachine in 1999. In 2002, the amalgamated city of Lachine merged into Montreal. The borders of the neighbourhood are the Lachine Canal/Borough of LaSalle to the south and east, the Town of Montreal West to the north and the rest of Lachine to the west. The entire neighbourhood has the H8R postal code. The town had an area of 2.15 square kilometres (0.83 sq mi), and a population of 4,739 in the last census (1996) prior to amalgamation.
