Cohocton (village), New York

Larrowe House, also known as The Cohocton Town and Village Hall, is a historic home located at Cohocton in Steuben County, New York. It is a 38 by 40 foot, two story dwelling constructed in 1856 in the Italianate style. There is a square cupola in the center of the roof. The Larrowe family donated the house in 1950 for use as a municipal hall. It remained in that use until the Cohocton Historical Society acquired the house in August 2009. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

Presbyterian Church of Atlanta is a historic Presbyterian church located at Atlanta in Steuben County, New York, United States. It was built in 1895 and is a Queen Anne style building constructed of red pressed brick over a limestone basement. The architect was Otis Dockstader of Elmira. The interior is designed on the Akron Plan. Also on the property is a former horse shed that was converted in the 1920s for use as a Sunday School and Boy Scout facility. Founded after a devastating fire destroyed most of the downtown area of the village, the church has always served a broad cross section of the community. Having nearly closed the church is now experiencing a period of renewal. Services are at 11:00 AM on Sundays. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Rowe House is a historic home located at Wayland in Steuben County, New York. It is a large three-by-seven-bay Tudor Revival– style residential building with an attached 1-story, three-bay garage wing at the rear. It was designed in 1926 by noted Rochester architect J. Foster Warner. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Lackawanna Limited wreck occurred when a Delaware, Lackawanna and Western Railroad (DL&W) passenger train, the New York-Buffalo Lackawanna Limited with 500 passengers, crashed into a freight train on August 30, 1943, killing 29 people in the small Steuben County community of Wayland in upstate New York, approximately 40 miles (64 km) south of Rochester.

As of the 2000 U.S. census, Perkinsville has an average household size of 2.66 persons. From 1882 to 1963, Perkinsville was on the New York (Hoboken) to Buffalo Main Line of the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western Railroad (1882–1960) and Erie Lackawanna Railroad (1960–1963). Tracks were removed through Perkinsville in 1963 by order of the United States Interstate Commerce Commission, upon application by the EL, which had far easier grades on the former Erie mainline via Hornell. Since 1963, Perkinsville has had no rail service.

Morgan Hook and Ladder Company is a historic fire station located at Naples in Ontario County, New York. The original part of the two story, frame structure was built about 1830 as a Federal style dwelling and later expanded and converted to a fire station in 1891 or 1892. It features a prominent hose drying / bell tower. It ceased being used as a fire station in 1926. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1995.

It was built in 1870–72 and is a lavish and imposing, two story rectangular brick building in the Italianate style. It was designed by A. J. Warner & Company, the Rochester partnership of A. J. Warner and Charles Coots. The town hall served as the center of the village and town's social and recreational activities until World War II. Between 1942 and 1972, the building was in private hands and served a variety of commercial and light industrial uses. In 1972, it was reacquired by the town and serves as a community center and host site for the annual Naples Grape Festival. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996.
