Minetto, New York

Minetto is a hamlet (and census-designated place) in Oswego County, New York, United States. The population was 1,069 at the 2010 census. Minetto is located in the Town of Minetto at the southern city line of Oswego. It is the only settlement in the town.

Riverside Cemetery is a historic rural cemetery and national historic district located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It was established in 1855 and designed by landscape architect Burton Arnold Thomas (1808–1880). Within the boundaries of this contributing site are six contributing buildings, 12 contributing structures, and 18 contributing objects. Notable burials include De Witt Clinton Littlejohn (1818–1892), Luther W. Mott (1874–1923), Newton W. Nutting (1840–1889), Joel Turrill (1794–1859), David P. Brewster (1801–1876), Rudolph Bunner (1779–1837), James Cochran (1769–1848), John C. Churchill (1821–1905), Leander Babcock (1811–1864), Abraham P. Grant (1804–1871), and Orville Robinson (1801–1882).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.

Pontiac Hotel is an historic hotel located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It was built in 1912 and designed by the office of architect George B. Post (1837–1913). It was originally a four-story, "U" shaped structure; in 1955 a one-story ballroom was added at the rear of the structure in the exterior courtyard. It features both Classical and Mission style details. The most distinctive interior feature is a 40-foot-diameter (12 m) rotunda centrally located on the main level. In the 1980s the structure was converted from hotel use to house 70 apartment units for the elderly.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Volkert Van Buren House is a historic home located near Fulton in Oswego County, New York. It is a Federal style structure constructed about 1832.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

Brosemer Brewery, also known as the Seaway Supply Building, is a historic brewery located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It was built in 1888 and is a four-story building measuring approximately 50 feet wide and 126 feet deep. It is a heavy timber post and beam and brick masonry structure on a limestone foundation. It ceased use as a brewery in the 1920s, after which it housed manufacturing and warehousing companies.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Battle Island State Park is a 235-acre (0.95 km2) state park located on the Oswego River in Oswego County, New York. Included within the park is the 18-hole Battle Island State Park Golf Course. The park is located on the west bank of the river, north of the City of Fulton, along New York State Route 48.

David Van Buren House is a historic home located near Fulton in Oswego County, New York. It consists of a 1+1⁄2-story, five-by-three-bay, main block with a large 1-story rear wing in the Greek Revival style. The brick structure was constructed in 1847.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

John Van Buren Tavern is a historic inn and tavern building located near Fulton in Oswego County, New York. It is a 2+1⁄2-story, three-by-five-bay, brick building with a side-gable roof. It was built sometime between 1800 and 1821 and operated as a tavern into the 1860s, when it was converted to a residence. Also on the property are a contributing smokehouse and house lived in while the tavern was under construction.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.

The Oswego Speedway is a 5/8 mile race track in Oswego, New York. It was built in 1951 and was paved with asphalt since the 1952. The track has held dates on several national tours - the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, ASA National Tour, and USAC Silver Crown Series. Since 2016, it is temporarily covered with dirt at the end of the season in September to host Super DIRT Week, featuring the Syracuse 200 Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds. The track is the Labor Day Weekend home of the 200-lap, non-wing, big-block supermodified Budweiser Classic and Race of Champions (a modified touring series event).

The Oswego Canal is a canal in the New York State Canal System located in New York, United States. Opened in 1828, it is 23.7 miles (38.1 km) in length, and connects the Erie Canal at Three Rivers (near Liverpool) to Lake Ontario at Oswego. The canal has a depth of 14 ft (4.3 m), with seven locks spanning the 118 ft (36 m) change in elevation. The modern canal essentially follows the route of the Oswego River, canalized with locks & dams. Three locks, with a total lift of 45.6 feet (13.9 m) take boats over what had been a steep set of rapids at the city of Oswego. This is the only route from the Atlantic/Hudson River system to Lake Ontario fully within the United States.

Standard Yarn Company Building is a historic factory building located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It is a brick structure, measuring 200 feet along the street and constructed in three sections between 1897 and 1911. It is of common mill construction with load bearing masonry walls and wooden floors and joists supported by heavy wooden posts.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

John B. and Lydia Edwards House is a historic home located at Oswego in Oswego County, New York. It is a two-story, rectangular frame residence built between 1834 and 1835. Its owner John B. Edwards was abolitionist Gerrit Smith's agent at Oswego and the house is well documented as a way station on the Underground Railroad.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.
