Vetrnik (pronounced [ˈʋeːtəɾnik]) is a dispersed settlement in the Municipality of Kozje in eastern Slovenia. It lies in the southern part of the Sava Hills (Slovene: Posavsko hribovje) west and south of Kozje. The area is part of the historical Styria region. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.

Veliki Kamen (pronounced [ˈʋeːliki ˈkaːmən], German: Großsteinbach) is a settlement northeast of Senovo in the Municipality of Krško in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.

The parish church in the village is dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje. It was built in the early 17th century. In 1824, its nave was extended and a new belfry and two side chapels were built. The main altar dates to the mid-18th century.

Reštanj (pronounced [ɾɛˈʃtaːn], in older sources also Raštanj, German: Reichenstein) is a dispersed settlement in the hills north of Senovo in the Municipality of Krško in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. The local church is built on a hill in the eastern part of the settlement and is dedicated to Saint Jodocus (Slovene: sveti Jošt). It belongs to the Parish of Koprivnica. It is a Gothic building that was restyled in the Baroque in the 18th century. On a hill north of the settlement are the ruins of Reštanj Castle. It was mentioned in written documents dating to 1235. It was destroyed during the Croatian–Slovene Peasant Revolt in 1573 and never rebuilt.

Lokve (pronounced [ˈloːkʋɛ]) is a small settlement east of Senovo in the Municipality of Krško in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. There is a small chapel-shrine in the settlement dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was built in the late 19th century.

It developed into a large settlement after its brown coal mine began to operate in 1839, but especially in the early 20th century. The mine closed in the second half of the 1990s. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Christ the Saviour and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje. It was built in 1975 and has a square floor plan with a slanted roof and a separate belfry.

The Municipality of Kozje (pronounced [ˈkoːzjɛ]; Slovene: Občina Kozje) is a municipality in the traditional region of Styria in northeastern Slovenia. The seat of the municipality is the town of Kozje. Kozje became a municipality in 1994.

Pilštanj (pronounced [ˈpiːlʃtan], German: Peilenstein) is a village in the Municipality of Kozje in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical Styria region. The municipality is included in the Savinja Statistical Region. The parish church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Michael and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje. It was first mentioned in written documents dating to 1167. The current church was built in the 15th century and redone in Baroque style in the 18th century. There are ruins of two castles near the settlement. Pilštanj Castle (Germ. Peilenstein) on a steep hill south of the settlement is mentioned in a number of documents dating to the 11th century. It was abandoned by the late 17th century. Hartenštajn Castle (Germ. Hartenstein), of which very few ruins remain, was a 13th-century castle northwest of the settlement.
