Spady Cultural Heritage Museum is a museum of African-American history in Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida. It is housed in the former home of the late Solomon David Spady, a prominent African-American educator and community leader in Delray Beach from 1922 to 1957. The museum opened in July 2001 and is funded by the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, Cultural Council of Palm Beach County, and the State of Florida. The museum is located at 170 NW Fifth Avenue in the historic West Settlers District of Delray Beach. Spady was a student of George Washington Carver, who, referred by Booker T. Washington, became a school teacher and was principal of Delray County Training School from 1922 to 1957. He inspired children and encouraged them to go to college. He is on the list of Great Floridians. The Spady Museum's community & cultural partners include the Community Redevelopment Agency of Delray Beach, the City of Delray Beach, the Florida African American Heritage Preservation Network, Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach County Cultural Council, and Broward Attractions and Museum Month.

Delray Beach Tennis Center is a tennis center in Delray Beach, Florida. Built in 1992, the stadium (part of the tennis center) currently holds 8,200 spectators. It currently hosts the Delray Beach Open. It has hosted Fed Cup and Davis Cup matches. In 2006, the Palm Beach Phantoms indoor football team planned on playing there, which would have made the Tennis Center the first outdoor facility to host the normally indoor sporting event. However, no agreement was made with the team, which forced the Phantoms to play all of its games on the road. The team folded after the 2006 season with a record of 1–6.

The Delray Beach Open is an ATP World Tour 250 series men's professional tennis tournament held each year in Delray Beach, Florida, United States, and played on hard courts. It was previously known as America's Red Clay Championships, Citrix Tennis Championships, Delray Beach International Tennis Championships. The event was held in Coral Springs from 1993 to 1998; in 1999, it was relocated to the Delray Beach Tennis Center.. American Todd Martin won the tournament's first singles event in 1993. The tournament was previously named the Delray Beach International Tennis Championships (ITC) before being changed to its current name in 2014.

The Delray Beach Public Library is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)3 library located in Delray Beach, FL in Palm Beach County, FL. The library is funded through public and private partnerships and is not a part of government.

Old School Square is located in a historic area at 51 North Swinton Avenue in Delray Beach, Florida, United States. The 5-acre site is at the corner of Atlantic Avenue and Swinton Avenue, anchoring Delray's downtown shopping district. The campus includes restored early 20th century school buildings, formerly Delray Elementary and Delray High School, which were re-adapted as the Cornell Art Museum, Crest Theatre and Fieldhouse. The campus also includes the Pavilion in the center grounds, which is an outdoor entertainment stage with grass seating area, as well as the Old School Square Park just to the east. A City of Delray Beach parking garage is located adjacent to the park.

The John and Elizabeth Shaw Sundy House is a historic home in Delray Beach, Florida, United States. It is located at 106 South Swinton Avenue. On January 16, 1992, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Delray Beach is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida, United States. The population of Delray Beach as of April 1, 2020 was 66,846 according to the 2020 United States Census. Located 52 miles (83 kilometers) north of Miami, Delray Beach is in the Miami metropolitan area.

The Silverball Museum is a museum of pinball machines, located at 19 NE 3rd Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida. It contains a changing variety of restored and newer machines. Admission to the museum gives free play on the machines. There is a second Silverball Museum in Asbury Park, New Jersey.

The Milton-Myers American Legion Post No. 65 is a historic site in Delray Beach, Florida, United States. It is located at 263 Northeast 5th Avenue. On April 20, 1995, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The Milton-Meyers Post was chartered by the American Legion in 1920. The post was named in honor of two Delray Beach residents who died while in service during World War I. The post building was constructed the next year, and was dedicated at 11:00, November 11, 1922, four years to the hour after the end of World War I. As of 2016, the building remained in use by the post, making it the oldest post in Florida that has always used the same building.

The Colony Hotel & Cabaña Club, in Delray Beach, Florida, is a Spanish Colonial Revival-style hotel dating from 1926, plus a separate beach-side recreation area with pool and cabañas. The hotel features Florida Mediterranean architecture in a three-story building with two domed towers. It has been described as "the best known landmark" in Delray Beach.The hotel, initially known as the Alterep Hotel, was built in 1925 by a group of investors led by Albert T. Repp (for whom the hotel was named). The cost was estimated at $250,000 and another $100,000 for furnishings. It opened in approximately January 1926. After the hotel struggled and went into receivership, it was purchased for $50,000 in 1935 by George Boughton. He renamed it the Colony and owned it until his death in 1986. While under Boughton's ownership, the Colony was open only seasonally from January to April. Boughton owned another hotel in Maine that he operated during the remaining months of the year. The property includes the Colony Hotel, at 525 East Atlantic Avenue, and the Colony Cabaña Club, at 1801 South Ocean Boulevard. The hotel is in the center of the city, and the cabaña club is on the ocean, 2.2 miles (3.5 km) to the east and south from the hotel. George Washington Carver High School was a public secondary school in Delray Beach, Florida. It served as the high school for black students in Delray Beach until the public schools were integrated in 1970.

The Delray Beach Seaboard Air Line Railway Station (also known as the Delray Beach Railroad Station) is a historic Seaboard Air Line Railway depot in Delray Beach, Florida, United States. The station is located at 1525 West Atlantic Avenue. Constructed in 1927 and designed by Gustav Maass of the West Palm Beach architectural firm of Harvey & Clarke, it is identical to the Homestead Seaboard station further south, with the sole exception of its use of plain stucco rather than corinthian arches. In addition, the northern end of the station containing what was the freight room has been modified and enlarged since its original construction. The station was also identical to the Boynton Beach Seaboard depot just to the north, the destruction of which was authorized by the city of Boynton Beach in 2006 despite its historic nature.Amtrak continued passenger service to the station after taking over the Seaboard Silver Meteor and Silver Star routes in 1971. Tri-Rail began commuter rail service to the station in 1989, but in 1991 moved to a new Delray Beach station a few blocks south because of legal squabbles with the then-owner of the Seaboard station and poor access. Passenger service to the station halted completely in 1995 when Amtrak began using the Tri-Rail station as its Delray Beach stop.The station was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on September 4, 1986. On February 25, 2020, the station was largely destroyed by arson, and it is not known if the city of Delray Beach will continue with the restoration at this time.
