Lausanne-Flon station

The Lausanne Palace is a historic luxury hotel in Lausanne, Switzerland. It is located in the city centre, near the Esplanade of Montbenon and has a view on Le Flon on one side and on the Lake Léman on the other. It is owned by the Sandoz Family Foundation.

Riponne–Maurice Béjart is a Lausanne Métro station on M2 line. It was opened on 27 October 2008 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Croisettes to Ouchy–Olympique. The station is located between Bessières and Lausanne-Flon. The station is named after the choreographer Maurice Béjart, who worked in Lausanne.

In the 20th century, Lausanne became a focus of international sport, hosting the International Olympic Committee (which has recognized the city as the "Olympic Capital" since 1994), the Court of Arbitration for Sport and some 55 international sport associations. It lies in a noted wine-growing region. The city has a 28-station metro system, making it the smallest city in the world to have a rapid transit system. Lausanne hosted the 2020 Winter Youth Olympics.

The Haute école de musique de Lausanne (HEMU, known as Institute of Advanced Musical Studies prior to 2010, founded in 1861 as Conservatoire de Lausanne) is a Swiss music school located in Romandy, the French-speaking western part of Switzerland. It is a constituent institution of the University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland.

Le Flon is a district of the city of Lausanne, in Switzerland. It is served by Lausanne Métro lines 1 and 2 from Lausanne-Flon station.

Lausanne-Gare is a Lausanne Métro station on M2 line. It was opened on 27 October 2008 as part of the inaugural section of the line, from Croisettes to Ouchy–Olympique. The station is located between Lausanne-Flon and Grancy. The station is located in Lausanne railway station, hence the name. In 1877, a funicular between Lausanne and Ouchy was opened. In 1879, a funicular from Lausanne railway station uphill to Lausanne-Flon was opened as well. It functioned until 1959, when funicular was rebuilt as a rack railway. In 2003, the whole section between Lausanne-Flon and Ouchy was demolished to give way for construction of M2 line.

Lausanne railway station (French: Gare de Lausanne) Is the main intercity and regional railway station for the city of Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland. It is often known as Lausanne CFF to distinguish it from others in the town.

Lausanne-Chauderon railway station (French: Gare de Lausanne-Chauderon) is a railway station in the municipality of Lausanne, in the Swiss canton of Vaud. It is located on the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+3⁄8 in) Lausanne–Bercher line of the Chemin de fer Lausanne-Échallens-Bercher (LEB).
