St Ives Chase, New South Wales

North St Ives is a locality in the suburb of St Ives in northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.

St Ives is a suburb on the Upper North Shore of Sydney in the state of New South Wales, Australia 18 kilometres north of the Sydney Central Business District in the local government area of Ku-ring-gai Council. St Ives Chase is a separate adjacent area, designated suburb, to the west and north.

Brigidine College is an independent Catholic secondary day school for girls located in St Ives, on the North Shore of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Established in 1954 by the Brigidine Sisters, Brigidine has a non-selective enrolment policy and it caters for approximately 900 students from Year 7 to Year 12. The majority of students are drawn from the Northern Beaches, North Shore and Forest areas of Sydney. Rose Seidler House is a heritage-listed former residence and now house museum located at 69–71 Clissold Road in the Sydney suburb of Wahroonga in the Ku-ring-gai Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Harry Seidler and built from 1948 to 1950 by Bret R. Lake. It is also known as In neighbourhood precinct with Marcus Seidler House and Teplitzky House or Rose House. The property is owned by the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.The mid-century modern house was designed for both of Seidler's parents – Rose and Max Seidler, however since Rose Seidler was the person who initiated and drove the commission, making all the main client decisions, the house is named after only her.

St Ives Shopping Village is a shopping centre in the suburb of St Ives in Sydney's Upper North Shore. It opened in the 1960s and included a supermarket and over 40 stores. In the 1970s St Ives Shopping Village became the main commercial area for St Ives and now has over 100 stores. The main major tenants are Harris Farm Markets, Coles and Woolworths. It is across the road from the Village Green and the skate park.

North Turramurra is a suburb on the Upper North Shore of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. North Turramurra is located 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Ku-ring-gai Council. Turramurra and South Turramurra are separate suburbs.

The Blue Gum High Forest of the Sydney Basin Bioregion is a wet sclerophyll forest found in the northern parts of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It has been classified as critically endangered, under the New South Wales government's Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995. The principal canopy trees in this forest community are Sydney blue gum and blackbutt which are usually seen between 20 and 40 metres tall. 180 species of indigenous plants have been identified at Dalrymple-Hay Nature Reserve.
