The Mount Henry Bridge carries the Kwinana Freeway and Mandurah railway line over the Canning River in Perth, approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) south of the Perth central business district. At 660 metres (2,170 ft) long, it is the longest road bridge in Western Australia. It spans the river between the Mount Henry Peninsula and the suburb of Brentwood.

Mount Henry Peninsula is a land feature and reserve located 11 km (6.8 mi) south of Perth, Western Australia, on the north bank of the Canning River near the Mount Henry Bridge in Salter Point, Western Australia. It covers 11.9 hectares (29 acres), and includes both Banksia attenuata and Banksia menziesii woodland, and a muddy and desert biome. The peninsula features limestone slopes, shoreline vegetation, wetlands, and contains the most inland vegetated knoll of the Spearwood dunes on the Swan-Canning estuary, as well as a significant variety of natural conditions for birds and other fauna. The Mount Henry Peninisula is a designated Bush Forever Site, number 227.The peninsula is owned by the Congregation of Christian Brothers as part of the Aquinas College property, and is managed as a reserve with the Department of Environment and the City of South Perth for heritage conservation, education and passive recreation values. Senior students at Aquinas College are involved in the Community Service Program, and many choose to participate in Environmental Service.The "Canning River Wetlands", which takes in Mount Henry Peninsula, is on the Register of the National Estate, (Australia's national inventory of natural and cultural heritage places which are worth keeping for the future). The future preservation of the Mount Henry Peninsula has been guaranteed through the signing of the Bush Forever program by the Christian Brothers as owners of the Aquinas College property.

Ardross is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Melville. It was once an area of land acquired by the Scotsman, Sir Alexander Percival Matheson in 1896. In Matheson's subdivision of the adjoining suburb of Applecross, he created "Ardross Street" naming it after either the town of Ardrossan on the Scottish west coast or Ardross Castle, located about 40 kilometers north of Inverness. The suburb derives its name from this street.

Westfield Booragoon (formerly known as Garden City) is a major regional shopping centre in the city of Perth, Western Australia. Westfield Booragoon is located at the corner of Marmion Street and Riseley Street in the southern suburb of Booragoon. 50% of the shopping complex is owned by Dexus with the remaining 50% owned by Scentre Group which owns and operates its properties under the Westfield name from which the company is derived. The centre has attracted up to 13 million average annual individual visits to the centre generating an estimated turnover of over A$500 million annually. In 2011, it grossed a Moving Annual Turnover (MAT) of A$577.1 million, giving it the highest turnover of any centre in the state and the 13th highest in the country. Westfield Carousel has the 2nd highest MAT in the state. Garden City has been managed under AMP Shopping Centres since 1986; Scentre Group has managed it since December 2019. In 2021, AMP Limited sold their 50% part of the centre to Dexus.

Applecross Senior High School is a public co-educational high school, located in Ardross, a southern suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Founded in 1958, Applecross Senior High School has traditionally been one of the leading public high schools in Western Australia and consistently ranks academically within the top ten secondary schools in the state. Applecross has produced two Rhodes Scholars.Applecross runs dedicated art, tennis and chess programs, and has traditionally been dominant in these areas. It also runs Academic Extension classes, for those students talented in the areas of English, Maths, Science, Society and Environment, French and Japanese. Like many WA high schools, Applecross is a partially selective high school with out-of-area students accepted on a number of criteria.

Booragoon bus station is a Transperth bus station located next to the Westfield Booragoon shopping centre in Booragoon, Western Australia. It has 13 stands and is served by nine Transperth routes, in addition to a number of school buses and School Special services. The original Booragoon bus station opened in September 1976.Booragoon bus station, is located at the corner of Riseley and Marmion Streets, and is the fourth bus station to have existed on the shopping centre premises, being built upon the site previously occupied by the Booragoon Hotel. Previous iterations of the bus station have existed at various locations on the premises, including at the main entrance from Riseley Street, adjacent the Booragoon Hotel (slightly west of the current ANZ Branch) and adjacent to Davy Street before the road was rerouted as a result of car-park expansions. Continued expansion of the shopping centre has necessitated construction of new stations.

The Edmund Rice Administration Wing, commonly known as The Castle, is a heritage listed building located on Mount Henry Road in Salter Point and the focal point of the Aquinas College Campus. Built in 1937, the Castle was the first building completed on the campus. The building is owned by the Christian Brothers as part of the Aquinas College property.

The Aquinas College Chapel, formally known as the Chapel of St Thomas Aquinas, is a heritage-listed building located on the Aquinas College property in Salter Point, Western Australia. The building is owned by the Christian Brothers as part of the Aquinas College property.

Brentwood is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Melville and approximately 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) from Perth city centre. Aquinas College, locally abbreviated as Aquinas, is an independent Roman Catholic single-sex primary and secondary day and boarding school for boys, located at Salter Point, a suburb of Perth, Western Australia. Aquinas opened in 1938, when the headmaster, boarders and day students from Christian Brothers' College, Perth (CBC Perth) moved to the new campus at Salter Point. The history of Aquinas begins with CBC Perth which was founded in 1894 on St Georges Terrace in the Perth. Aquinas was the beneficiary of CBC Perth's history, honours and achievements for the period 1894–1937.The campus at Aquinas was built on elevated land which is part of the 69-hectare (171-acre) site at Salter Point. The site includes a large area of bushland on the Mount Henry Peninsula with over two kilometres (one point two miles) of water frontage on the Canning River.Currently, Aquinas College accepts day students from Kindergarten to Year 12 and boarding students from Years 7 to 12. School fees range from $5,937 for a Kindergarten day student to $46,404 for a Year 12 international boarding student. The campus includes expansive sporting grounds, and boarding facilities for 210 students.The College is affiliated with the Public Schools Association (PSA), the Association of Independent Schools of Western Australia, the Association of Heads of Independent Schools of Australia, and the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia.

Booragoon Lake is a small freshwater lake in suburban Perth, Western Australia. The lake is situated in the suburb of Booragoon and is bounded by Leach Highway, Lang Street and Aldridge Road. It makes up part of the eastern wetland of the Beeliar Regional Park along with Blue Gum Lake and North Lake. The reserve that the lake is part of has a total area of 23,161 square metres (6 acres).

Salter Point is a suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located in the City of South Perth local government area. Around 1880, Samuel August Salter (after whom Salter Point was named) worked as a sawyer and timber contractor on the peninsula. At the time, the area was completely undeveloped, surrounded by dense bush with no road access. Salter established a landing stage on the point known as "Salter's Landing", to which timber logs could be floated from where they were cut in Kelmscott and Jarrahdale for transportation to a mill by barge. Salter operated his business from this location for several years, leading to the area being renamed "Salter Point". Samuel August Salter (1849–1930) son of British migrants Samuel and Sarah Salter, and brother to Hannah. Hannah Buckingham (Salter) married Thomas Buckingham in 1871 and lived in Kelmscott. In 1929 a road to the location was made.In 1955, the area comprising Manning, Mt Henry, Salter Point and Waterford was annexed to the South Perth Road Board from the Canning Road Board. In 1990, the suburb's name Salter Point was gazetted. The foreshore along the Canning River has been studied for management plans.
