The Officer Training Unit, Scheyville (OTU Scheyville, pronounced Skyville) was a military training establishment for officers of the Australian Army. Located in the area of Scheyville in the Hawkesbury region of Sydney, Australia, the establishment was opened in April 1965 to train officer cadets who had been called up for service under the national service scheme and offered a short but rigorous commissioning course for trainees, tailored to meet the Army's need to increase the number of junior officers being produced in order to meet commitments to train national servicemen, and to provide platoon commanders for units serving overseas in Vietnam and other parts of Southeast Asia. It was closed in 1974 after the national service scheme was abolished in December 1972 and the last OCS Portsea class finished their time at Scheyville.

McGraths Hill is a suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is located 53 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Hawkesbury. It is bounded in the north-west by South Creek, shortly before it enters the Hawkesbury River. It is named after James McGrath, an Irish convict transported to Australia aboard the Hercules in 1802, who purchased property in the area around 1813.

The Scheyville National Park ( ) is a protected national park that is located in the northwestern suburbs of Sydney in New South Wales, in eastern Australia. The 920-hectare (2,300-acre) national park is situated approximately 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of the Sydney central business district, northeast of Windsor, near the settlement of Scheyville. Longneck Lagoon lies in the northern section of the park. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 9 April 2010.

Box Hill is located 48 kilometres north-west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of The Hills Shire and is part of the Hills District region. Box Hill is a rapidly growing new release area of The Hills Shire Council in North West Sydney. Box Hill Precinct is planned under the NSW Government's North West Priority Growth Area along with other release areas, such as North Kellyville. The area, which was rezoned in 2013, is bordered by Boundary Road to the west, Annangrove Road to the east, Old Pitt Town Road to the north and Windsor Road to the south. By completion Box Hill will be home to approximately 42,480 residents (13,276 dwellings). In July 2020, a portion of Box Hill in the north was carved out and became the separate suburb of Gables. It also absorbed two small areas of Rouse Hill.
