Molauer Land is a municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was formed on 1 January 2010 by the merger of the former municipalities Abtlöbnitz, Casekirchen, Leislau and Molau.

Schkölen Castle (German: Burg Schkölen) is a partially preserved water castle stand at a height of 210 metres above sea level (NN) in the centre (Ringstraße 9) of the town of Schkölen in the county of Saale-Holzland-Kreis in the German state of Thuringia. Until 1977 the ruins of the water castle lay almost forgotten and overgrown with briars in the middle of the little town.

Görschen

Görschen is a village and a former municipality in the Burgenlandkreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Since 1 January 2010, it is part of the municipality Mertendorf.

Schkölen

Wethautal is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the Burgenlandkreis district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Before 1 January 2010, it was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft. It is situated along the small river Wethau, a tributary of the Saale, southeast of Naumburg. The seat of the Verbandsgemeinde is in Osterfeld. The Verbandsgemeinde Wethautal consists of the following municipalities: Meineweh Mertendorf Molauer Land Osterfeld Schönburg Stößen Wethau
