Lovett Bay is a suburb and adjacent bay in northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 36 kilometres north of the Sydney central business district, in the local government area of Northern Beaches Council. Lovett Bay is in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, on the western shores of Pittwater, beside Elvina Bay. Scotland Island, Church Point and Morning Bay are nearby. Although on the mainland, access to Lovett Bay is by water, with no road access. Residents use their own boats to commute to Church Point or use the public ferry service. Bushwalkers can access the southern shore of Lovett Bay and neighbouring Elvina Bay via: Elvina Bay Circuit. The circuit includes access to the bottom and top of Elvina Waterfalls. Towlers Bay Circuit. This circuit descends from Birnie Lookout to Lovett Bay.

Clareville is on the opposite (eastern) Pittwater shore. Bushwalkers can access Elvina Bay and neighbouring Lovett Bay via the Elvina Bay Circuit. The circuit includes access to the bottom and top of Lovett Falls. The suburb is road-inaccessible otherwise.

Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club (RPAYC) is one of Australia's leading yacht clubs with a strong elite sailing focus located in Pittwater Newport, New South Wales. The club was formerly located at Kirribilli before relocating to its present location on Green Point, towards the southern end of Pittwater. The club is situated to the north of Crystal Bay and across from the Newport Arms Hotel. The club maintains an adjacent slipway, hardstand and other maintenance facilities on the northern shore of Crystal Bay.

Angophora Reserve is a 18.5-hectare (46-acre) nature preserve located in the Northern Beaches region of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales. It was once two adjacent reserves formally known as Hudson Park and Angophora Reserve, however the two were merged and are now referred together under the one title of Angophora Reserve. It borders the suburbs of Avalon Beach, Clareville and Taylors Point and provides a refuge for native fauna and flora and serves as a wildlife corridor. The reserve also contains an Aboriginal shelter site that holds both archaeological and cultural significance and is one of the most important of such sites in the Sydney region.

Hy Brasil, also sometimes Hy-Brasil, is a heritage-listed former weekend retreat and now house located at 62 Chisholm Road, Avalon Beach, Northern Beaches Council, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Alexander Stewart Jolly and built in 1936. It is also known as The Gem and Hi Brasil. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Bilgola Plateau is a suburb in Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.The suburb is mainly residential, with two small rows of shops, a small park and a primary school located on the top of the plateau. Bilgola Beach on the eastern side features a surf club and kiosk. Rising to an elevation of 150m above sea level, the suburb has views of the beach and the ocean on the eastern side, and views of the body of water, Pittwater on the western side. To the north are the suburbs of Avalon Beach, Whale Beach, and Palm Beach, with Careel Bay being a minor bay in between the latter two, as well as Clareville to the North West. To the south are Newport, Mona Vale and Narrabeen. The plateau was previously named Mount Loftus, after governor of NSW Lord Augustus Loftus. Given its modest elevation, designating it as a plateau is more appropriate, and is now named for the Aboriginal derived name of Bilgola (derived from the local aboriginal language meaning "swirling water"), likely describing Bilgola Beach to the east.
