Utica Parks and Parkway Historic District

Utica Zoo is a regional zoo in Utica, New York, situated in a section of Roscoe Conkling Park. It consists of a mixture of outdoor and indoor animal enclosures, a petting zoo, nature trails, and other amenities.The Utica Zoo is primarily funded by the Oneida County government, the New York State Natural Heritage Program, and fundraising by the zoo and private donors. The City of Utica does not financially support the zoo at present, although it still owns the land occupied by the zoo.

Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) is a public community college in Oneida County, New York. It is part of the State University of New York system. MVCC was founded in 1946 as the first community college established in New York State and currently consists of the main campus in Utica, N.Y., and a branch campus in Rome, New York It is the largest college between Syracuse, N.Y., and Albany, N.Y. MVCC offers degrees and certificates in more than 90 areas including liberal arts, nursing, surgical technology, computer science, remotely piloted aircraft systems, graphic design, criminal justice, airframe and power plant technology (aviation maintenance), engineering, culinary arts, and accounting. MVCC also has non-credit courses available through its Corporate and Community Education Department, including training for security guards, Certified Nurse Assistants, paralegals, and tractor-trailer drivers. This department also has a variety of leisure learning courses and camps for kids throughout the year.

Calvary Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church building at 1101 Howard Avenue in Utica, Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1870-1872 and is an asymmetrically massed, cruciform plan structure with a rectangular nave and intersecting apse, with a substantial engaged corner tower. It was designed by noted New York City architect Henry M. Congdon. It is currently home to the Cathedral of the Theotokos of Great Grace.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Roscoe Conkling House is a historic house at 3 Rutger Park in Utica, New York, United States. A National Historic Landmark, it was the home of Roscoe Conkling (1829–1888), a powerful and controversial politician. He is responsible, perhaps, for the angry, political atmosphere that led to the assassination of U.S. President James Garfield.

Thomas R. Proctor High School is the only high school in the Utica City School District in Utica, New York. The school was built in 1934 with funds from the Works Progress Administration and Thomas R. Proctor. It opened its doors on September 9, 1936. The school is the only public high school in Utica after Utica Free Academy closed in 1990.

Utica Public Library is a historic library building located in Utica in Oneida County, New York. It is a rectangular five story Neoclassical style structure, constructed of New Haven brick on a limestone foundation. It features a central pedimented pavilion with Corinthian order columns. It was designed in 1903 by Arthur C. Jackson of Carrère and Hastings.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.Originally the Utica Public Library sat at the Broad Street offices of Attorney Justus Rathbone in 1825. In 1842 the library had 1,700 volumes. It then reached 4,000 volumes in 1865. In 1904 more than 25,000 books from Elizabeth Street were transferred to the library. In February 2004, the computer room was opened.

The Millar-Wheeler House is a historic home located at 1423 Genesee Street in Utica, Oneida County, New York. It was built in 1866, and consists of a three-story, square, brick main block and two-story, frame rear wing. It features an ornate Italianate style entrance portico topped by an oriel window, a low-pitched hipped roof with broad eaves and belvedere, and scrolled brackets.: 3  It is operated as Rosemont Inn, a bed and breakfast. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

Fountain Elms is a historic home located at Utica in Oneida County, New York. It is part of the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute. The original block was completed in 1852 in the "Italian Style". It is basically a cube with a center hall plan. The original rear wing was remodeled in 1883 and a third two-story wing added. An additional wing and piazza were added in 1908, resulting in the current irregular plan.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.

Munson (Formally Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute) is a regional fine arts center founded in 1919 and located in Utica, New York. The institute has three program divisions, museum of art, performing arts and school of art.

The Stanley Theatre is a historic Baroque movie palace in Utica, New York. Over the years, it has gone through several changes of ownership, but has always been affiliated with Warner Brothers Pictures.

The New Century Club is located at 253 Genesee Street in Utica, New York. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in September, 1985. It is architecturally significant for its Greek Revival architecture, once characteristic of this part of the city of Utica. It is socially significant as the home of the New Century Club, a women's civic organization established in 1893 and "responsible throughout the early twentieth century for projects that notably improved Utica's educational system, outdoor recreational facilities and youth justice system."It was a work of Utica architect Frederick H. Gouge.

The Fort Schuyler Club, founded in 1883, is a private members' club located in downtown Utica, New York, USA. Early members of the club included Elihu Root, Francis Kernan, Horatio Seymour, Charlemagne Tower, and Ward Hunt.The club's clubhouse is "significant as a rare and substantially intact example of a late 19th-early 20th century social club" in downtown Utica. The building, built in stages from 1830 on, is a landmark located prominently on Genesee Street, the "principal thoroughfare" of Utica. First used as a residence, the club purchased the building in 1883, shortly after its establishment. It was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
