Wangen im Allgäu

Hergatz is a municipality in the district of Lindau in Bavaria in Germany. The contemporary town was formed from the former municipalities of Wohmbrechts and Maria-Thann in the course of the municipal reform at the end of the 1970s.

Hergatz station is the station of the Bavarian town of Hergatz. It has three platforms sidings and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station. The station is served by about 75 trains daily operated by Deutsche Bahn and Regentalbahn. Hergatz station is a separation station at the junction of the Buchloe–Lindau railway (Munich–Lindau) and the Kißlegg–Hergatz railway. Apart from Hergatz station, the municipality of Hergatz includes the closed stations of Maria Thann and Wohmbrechts.

Wigratzbad is a hamlet in the Lindau district of Bavaria, Germany. The village is 2 kilometres (1 mi) north of the town of Opfenbach, and 0.6 km (0.4 mi) south of Hergatz. It is situated on the ancient frontier of Bavaria and Swabia, a short distance from Germany's borders with Austria and Switzerland.

The Parish Church of St Gallus and Ulrich is a Roman Catholic church in Kißlegg, Germany. It was built in 1734-1738 by Johann Georg Fischer through the conversion of a Gothic church predecessor. The tower, which survives from the original construction, is from the twelfth or thirteenth century. It was extensively renovated between 1974 and 1980. The church contains a Madonna of 1623 (attributed to Hans Zürn the Elder), a baroque pulpit of divination Johann Wilhelm (1745) and numerous tombs of the 16th and 17th century. The church also has a valuable treasure of silver (1741-1755) from the workshop of the Augsburg silversmith Franz Christoph Mäderl. The church also contains a purported relic of Saint Clemens that is in fact an example of a so-called catacomb saint, a corpse that has been taken from the Roman Catacombs, decorated, given a fictitious name, and presented as the relic of a Roman Catholic saint.

Meggen Lawn Cross is a supposedly supernatural mark of a cross in the ground in Meggen, a village near Argenbühl in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The Cross first appeared on June 30, 1972, in form of a bald spot in the surrounding field. Later a cross with a length of 3.3 metres and a width of 1.6 metres appeared. The cross reappears each year. Its origin is unknown. Investigations by the University of Hohenheim have been unable to find any cause for the phenomenon.
