Sromlje (pronounced [ˈsɾoːmljɛ], German: Sromle) is a village in the hills north of Brežice in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.

The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. It includes the hamlets of Goliše, Grič, Sveti Jedrt (German: Sankt Gertraud), Jesenovec, Lipovec, Ravne, Rigelj (German: Riegl), Trate, and Trobovnik. The local church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Gertrude and belongs to the Parish of Pišece. It is a late-16th-century building that was refurbished in the Baroque style in the 18th century. Its belfry was rebuilt in the 19th century.

Pečice (pronounced [ˈpeːtʃitsɛ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. The local church in the settlement is dedicated to Saint Oswald (Slovene: sveti Ožbolt) and belongs to the Parish of Podsreda. It was built between 1857 and 1863 on the site of an older building.

Zgornja Pohanca (pronounced [ˈzɡoːɾnja ˈpoːxantsa], German: Oberpochanza) is a settlement in the hills north of Brežice in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region. There is a small chapel-shrine in the settlement dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It was built in 1898.

Blatno (pronounced [ˈblaːtnɔ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.

Podsreda Castle is a fortress in Slovenia with in the Kozje region. It was formerly known as Hörberg or Herberch. The castle contains a small chapel and a defense tower.: 212  It was built in the 13th century.: 170  Then the castle was owned by the counts of Celje and the counts of Ptuj. During the Second World War the castle was nearly destroyed.: 166  However, since 1983 the castle has been under renovation by the Kozje Park Public Institute with renovations being completed in 2015.

Oklukova Gora (pronounced [ɔˈkluːkɔʋa ˈɡɔːɾa], German: Oklukovagora) is a settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included with the rest of the municipality in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.

Mali Vrh (pronounced [ˈmaːli ˈʋəɾx], German: Maliverh) is a settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.The local church is dedicated to Saint James and belongs to the parish of Pišece. It was built in the 17th century on the site of an earlier church. Its nave was extended around 1800. On August 3, 2021, the church tower collapsed onto the nave. The church had been damaged by a recent earthquake and aftershocks.

Križe (pronounced [ˈkɾiːʒɛ]) is a settlement in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the traditional region of Styria. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.
