City of Randwick

The City of Rockdale was a local government area in southern and St George regions of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The city centre was located 12 kilometres (7.5 mi) south-west of the Sydney central business district, on the western shores of Botany Bay. First proclaimed on 13 January 1871, Rockdale was formerly known as the Municipality of West Botany until 1887 and the Municipality of Rockdale before being proclaimed as a City in 1995. Rockdale was amalgamated with the neighbouring City of Botany Bay on 9 September 2016 to form the new municipality of Bayside Council. The last mayor of the City of Rockdale at amalgamation was Cr. Bill Saravinovski, a member of the Labor Party.

The Fred Hollows Reserve is a local government–administered reserve that is located in the eastern suburbs of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. The 2-hectare (4.9-acre) reserve is situated in a natural area in what was formerly known as Glebe Gully in Randwick. It is the result of conservation efforts by the Randwick City Council, since 1993, in a hilly part of the Coogee Basin. The park follows a gully from Alison Road to Clovelly Road.The gully faces south away from the sun, forming a closed canopy and a relatively fire-free habitat, which contrasts with the nearby urban area and busy traffic.

Coogee () is a beachside suburb in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, eight kilometres south-east of the Sydney central business district. The Tasman Sea and Coogee Bay along with Coogee Beach lie towards the eastern side of the suburb. The boundaries of Coogee are formed mainly by Clovelly Road, Carrington Road and Rainbow Street, with arbitrary lines drawn to join these thoroughfares to the coast in the north-east and south-east corners.

Coogee Oval is a sporting ground, located in Coogee, in Sydney's eastern suburbs. The ground overlooks Coogee Beach.

Rathven is a heritage-listed former private residence and boarding house for school and private residence in the Sydney suburb of Randwick in the City of Randwick local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed and built by George Raffan during 1887. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

Nugal Hall sits in the City of Randwick local government area as part of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. Nugal Hall was designed by Mortimer Lewis (south section) and Oswald H. Lewis (north section) and completed in 1853. Nugal Hall was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999 and on the (now defunct) Register of the National Estate. Nugal Hall has had many famous residents including politicians, business magnates, ambassadors, judges/lawyers, and movie stars. The property is privately owned.

The Ritz Cinema, also known as the Ritz Theatre, is a heritage-listed cinema located at 43 St Pauls Street, in the Sydney suburb of Randwick in the City of Randwick local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Aaron Bolot and built in 1937 by C. & B. J. Williams. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999. The architect, Aaron Bolot, is known for his classic art deco buildings throughout Sydney, such as his commissions for grand apartment buildings in Potts Point.

Ventnor is an historic home in the suburb of Randwick, a suburb of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. It was built as the home of George Kiss, one of the earliest politicians in Sydney. It is listed on the local heritage register and is listed on the (now defunct) Register of the National Estate.

Corana and Hygeia are a heritage-listed pair of semi-detached residences at 211-215 Avoca Street in the Sydney suburb of Randwick in the City of Randwick local government area of New South Wales, Australia. They were built from 1893 to 1894. They are also known as Corana & Hygeia Victorian Terraces, Corona, Randwick Lodge and has recently re-branded to The Lurline. The property is privately owned. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

The Randwick City Hall is a heritage-listed town hall located in the Sydney suburb of Randwick, New South Wales, Australia. Designed by Messrs Blackmann and Parkes in the Victorian Italianate architectural style, the town hall was completed in 1882 at a cost of A£2,300 to serve as the town hall and municipal chamber for the Borough of Randwick. The City Hall is listed on the (now defunct) Register of the National Estate and as an item of local government significance on the New South Wales Heritage Database.
