Emirates Aviation University (EAU), also known as Emirates Aviation College, is a university located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is the educational arm of The Emirates Group. The EAU offers education in aeronautical engineering, aviation management, business management, aviation safety and security studies.

Al Ghurair University (AGU) was a private university founded in 1999 by the Al Ghurair Group and located in Dubai International Academic City in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It opened in 1999 as one of the UAE's first private universities. The university was accredited by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education. The university permanently closed its doors on 31 August 2022.

Dubai International Academic City (DIAC), informally known as Academic City, is a university town in the city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates along the Dubai-Al Ain Road in Al Rowaiyah. The project was launched in May 2006 in liaison with Dubai Knowledge Park. The regulatory authority in the DIAC is the Dubai Development Authority.As a university town, DIAC is a foundation for schools, colleges and universities. Consisting of 27 colleges and universities, 3 innovation centers, the DIAC enrolls about 27,500 students. It offers more than 500 academic programs in different fields.

The American University in the Emirates (AUE) is a private university in Dubai International Academic City in the United Arab Emirates. The university was founded in 2006.

The Institute of Management Technology-Dubai (IMTD) is an international business school. It is certified by the Ministry of Higher Education, UAE; the Institute is licensed by MOHESR and KHDA, and all its programs are accredited by the CAA. It offers accredited undergraduate and postgraduate programs to students from a multitude of nationalities and educational backgrounds. Established in 2006, the Institute was among the first International Business Schools to have set up a full-fledged campus in Dubai. At the undergraduate level IMTD offers a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (full-time). At the graduate level it offers a full-time MBA for fresh graduates and an Executive MBA (on weekends) for working professionals. Students from various nationalities including the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Europe study together. The Dubai campus is the third campus of IMT.

Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) (Arabic: هيئة المعرفة والتنمية البشرية) is the educational quality assurance and regulatory authority of the Government of Dubai, United Arab Emirates which is responsible for evaluation and accreditation of higher educational institutions and universities in the Emirate of Dubai. Established in 2006 by the country's Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, it is the main body that oversees the growth of private education sector in the emirate, including early childhood education centers and schools.KHDA oversees the private education sector in Dubai, higher education providers, and training institutes. KHDA is responsible for the growth and quality of private education in Dubai. Between 2008 and 2018, the number of students attending schools rated good or better has more than doubled - from 30% in 2008/09 to 66% in the 2017/18 academic year. Likewise the number of Emirati students attending schools rated good or better has increased significantly, from 26% in 2008/09, to 62% in 2017/18.KHDA's current priorities focus on increasing the number of expatriate and Emirati students attending high-quality schools, and to integrate wellbeing into the concepts and processes that define education in Dubai. It works with its local education community as well as international partners to promote positive education within all schools and universities in Dubai. KHDA believes the purpose of education is to prepare students for the tests of life, not just a life of tests. Positive education practices promote essential life skills and personal attributes alongside academic achievement. Qualities such as resilience, creativity, optimism, collaboration and empathy are recognised as essential for students to have in order to lead meaningful lives that will enable them to flourish.

Lycée Français International Georges Pompidou (LFIGP; Arabic: الیسة اﻟﻔرﻧﺳﯾﺔ الدولیة جورج بومبیو) is a French international school with campuses in Dubai and Sharjah. It serves levels maternelle, through lycée (senior high school). As of the 2013–2014 school year the school had a total of 2,400 students.

The British University in Dubai (BUiD) (Arabic: الجامعة البريطانية في دبي) is a research-based non-profit institution in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Founded in 2003 by the country's Vice President and Prime Minister Maktoum bin Rashid al-Maktoum, it is licensed by the UAE's Ministry of Education's Higher Education Affairs and all its programmes are accredited by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA). BUiD is part of a strategic alliance with three UK Russell Group universities: University of Edinburgh, the University of Manchester, and University of Glasgow. BUiD is located in Dubai International Academic City, Dubai.

Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (abbreviated HBMSU; formerly Hamdan Bin Mohammed e-University) is the first smart university in the United Arab Emirates, established in 2002. The President of the university is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Being the first e-learning institute in the UAE, its working model has paved the way for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR), UAE to design standards for accreditation for an e-learning institution. Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (HBMSU) follows in its delivery of learning a blended learning. These methods may include a mixture of face-to-face classrooms, online classrooms, and self-paced learning. The student-centered environment at the university is reflected in the support offered to learners with automated pre-enrolment and admissions support, e-virtual communities and learners' clubs, and additional learning resources such as the Library, e-Career, and Placement Services, using the ICT technologies to communicate with learners across the globe. Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani - Dubai (BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus or BPDC) is a private technical research university and a constituent college of Dubai International Academic City. It became the international campus of BITS Pilani in 2000, making it the second campus established (other campuses: Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad). It is the first Indian university to have an overseas campus. The institute is backed by the Aditya Birla Group and is one of the first six institutes to be awarded the Institute of Eminence status in 2018.BITS Pilani, Dubai offers undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs in engineering and business management domains under 10 academic departments. It enrolls about 1,400 students every year, mostly from India, UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries.

The Emirates Soil Museum opened on 8 December 2016, with the support of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development in improving the technology and interior and exterior exhibits. Since its launch, the museum has had 3,000 visitors from various backgrounds. The museum attempts to engage its visitors through knowledge dissemination, workshops, and student field trips that involved them stepping out into nature and collecting data on soil, water and soil biodiversity as well as hands-on activities, science experiments, analysis and projects. The recommendation was made after the completion of the first phase of the UAE Soil Mapping Project which was a 10-year project that included extensive and intensive soil analysis completed in collaboration with EAD and the UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (Ministry of Environment and Water at the time). This project produced the UAE Soil Maps, Abu Dhabi Soil Survey Books, Northern Emirates Soil Survey Books, United Arab Emirates Keys to Soil Taxonomy and the addition of a new soil sub group called Anhydrite, which was officially recognized in 2014 in the updated edition of the US Keys to Soil Taxonomy.

Zayed University (ZU; Arabic: جامعة زايد) is a public university based in the United Arab Emirates. It was established in 1998. It is one of the three government-sponsored higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates. It is named in honor of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the country's first president.Achieving accreditation by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education in the US, it became the first federal university in the UAE to be internationally accredited. ZU offers 17 majors and 10 minors at undergraduate level and 10 master's degrees. The university has eight colleges: College of Arts and Creative Enterprises, College of Business, College of Communication and Media Sciences, College of Education, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Natural and Health Sciences, College of Technological Innovation, and college of interdisciplinary studies.
