Riga Planning Region

Pierīga Region is one of the six statistical regions of Latvia.

Kleisti is a neighbourhood of Riga, the capital of Latvia. It is the largest neighbourhood of Riga by area, although sparsely populated. Most of the neighbourhood is woods and overgrown meadows. The name of the neighbourhood comes from the former Kleisti Manor (Kleiste).

Kurzeme District (Latvian: Kurzemes rajons) is one of six administrative districts of Riga, the capital of Latvia. Kurzeme is the Latvian name for Courland, a historical and cultural region of Latvia.

Buļļu Sala (also known as Daugavgrīvas Sala) is an island in the Kurzeme District of Riga, Latvia.

Buļļi or Rītabuļļi is a neighbourhood of Riga, the capital of Latvia. The Western area is known as Vakarbuļļi. The boundaries of the Buļļi neighborhood are the Riga city border, the Gulf of Riga, the trail leading to the Gulf of Riga, Dzintara Street, an imaginary parallel line to Roņu Street, Buļļupe. The Buļļi neighborhood is located in the extreme Northwest corner of Riga on Buļļi Island. It borders the Daugavgrīva and Kleisti neighborhoods, as well as Jūrmala city, although by land the only connection to this neighborhood is with Daugavgrīva. Administratively, this neighborhood is located in the Kurzeme District, Riga. The area of the neighborhood is 7,497 square kilometres (2,895 sq mi). Buļļi contains the Vakarbuļļi swimming location, which is an important recreational spot for Riga residents and in 2009 was the only swimming location in the territory of Riga, which has been awarded the Blue Flag beach designation.

Imanta Station is a railway station on the Torņakalns – Tukums II Railway. It's located near and named after the Imanta neighborhood of the Kurzeme District of Riga, Latvia. All electric trains of the line stop at the station.

Ziepniekkalns is a neighborhood of Riga, Latvia. It is located in the Pārdaugava section of Riga close to the city's southern border. Ziepniekkalns is the latest out of all Riga's neighborhoods. It was built in the late 1980s and early 1990s and mostly consists of Soviet-built 10 story apartment buildings. However, there are still many older buildings in Ziepniekkalns constructed in the early 1960s. There is a major contrast between older 3 story buildings and newer 10 story ones. In the mid-1990s, route 19 trolleybus was extended to the heart of new Ziepniekkalns and now final stop is at the Mego supermarket. The trolleybus route 4 runs through the city center to Jugla.

Imanta is a neighbourhood on the western edge of Riga, Latvia. The neighbourhood's northern border is Kurzeme Prospekts (Boulevard); and in the south, Imanta is separated from the newer Zolitūde neighbourhood by the Riga—Jūrmala railroad. Prior to development, the region consisted largely of pine forests, sections of which have been preserved in Anninmuiza Park in the center of Imanta, and the Kleistu forest to its north.

Vārnukrogs is a residential area and neighbourhood of the city Jūrmala, Latvia.

Bolderāja Lutheran Church (Latvian: Bolderājas evaņģēliski luteriskā baznīca) is a Lutheran church in Riga, the capital of Latvia. It is a parish church of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia. The building is situated at the address Lielā iela 45. The wooden church was built in 1875.

Latvian Maritime Academy (LMA; Latvian: Latvijas Jūras akadēmija) — Maritime academy, located in Riga, Latvia. It awards degrees below the doctoral level, and is the only institution in Latvia that grants university-level degrees in the maritime sector. In the 2015/2016 academic year, 237 students were admitted and 916 students in total were attending the academy.

Assumption of the Most Holy Virgin Mary Church (Latvian: Bolderājas Vissvētākās Jaunavas Marijas Debesīs uzņemšanas Romas katoļu baznīca) is a catholic church in Bolderāja, a suburb of Riga, Latvia. The church is situated at the address 17 Goba Street.
