The Chautauqua Auditorium is a wooden building constructed for the first season of the Colorado Chautauqua in 1898, and through the years has been a venue for many lectures, musical performances, and motion pictures both primitive and modern. Located at the Colorado Chautauqua in Boulder, Colorado, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. It then stood "almost as it was built and as it was dedicated on July 4, 1898."

The Colorado Chautauqua, located in Boulder, Colorado, United States, and started in 1898, is the only Chautauqua west of the Mississippi River still continuing in unbroken operation since the heyday of the Chautauqua Movement in the 1920s. It is one of the few such continuously operating Chautauquas remaining in the United States, and was designated a National Historic Landmark in 2006. According to its governing body, the Colorado Chautauqua Association, it is also unique in that it is the only year-round Chautauqua.

The Allen House located at 1510 Mariposa Avenue in Boulder, Colorado, USA, is an Historic Landmark Building and registered as such with the City of Boulder. The structure is notable for its age, condition and for its membership in the Boulder Floral Park Historic District. The exterior is white-painted brick with a batten-board second floor. The recessed front entrance is decorated with quoins. Two stained-glass windows are incorporated into the side walls of the recessed entrance. Green shutters frame most of the windows as well as the front doorway.

The Floral Park Historic District is a block of eight homes in Boulder, Colorado that constitute the first planned unit development in Boulder County, Colorado. The homes were built between 1939 and 1940 by a cooperative of eight professors from the nearby University of Colorado, and designated as an historic district by the City of Boulder in 1978.

The Boulder History Museum, now doing business as the Museum of Boulder (operated by the Boulder Historical Society), is a private, nonprofit, local history museum located in Boulder, Colorado. From 1985 to 2018, the Museum operated out of the historic Harbeck-Bergheim house on University Hill near the University of Colorado Boulder campus. In April 2013, it purchased the Masonic Lodge building at Broadway and Pine for $2.45 million. Renovations began in 2017 and the new Museum opened on May 19, 2018.In 2015 the Boettcher Foundation granted the museum $75,000 to renovate the former Masonic Lodge building. In addition, the museum received a $500,000 challenge grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities to help aid in renovations. Voters approved, in 2014, $4 million as part of the Community, Culture and Safety Tax. In October 2017, Stephen Tebo donated $1.5 million to the Museum of Boulder, allowing him the opportunity to name the new museum building.The Museum of Boulder works in conjunction with the Boulder Carnegie Library in order to preserve over 900,000 historic photographs and documents. The museum also has a collection of over 45,000 historical artifacts.

The Hill, a neighborhood in Boulder, Colorado, lies directly west of the University of Colorado campus. The fraternities and sororities associated with CU are located on The Hill as are several establishments associated with the social lives of its students. It is a mixed residential neighborhood with substantial private student housing. It was the center of counterculture activity in Boulder during the 1960s and 70s.Boulder was a dry town, no liquor sales allowed. However, 3.2% beer was allowed, which 18 year olds could purchase. The Sink, founded in 1923, and Tulagi's, founded in the 1940s, were 3.2% watering spots located on The Hill that were popular with students. Tulagi's was a modest music venue, where, in winter 1971, a new band, The Eagles, played to an audience of 30. Other notable businesses, past and present, include Albums on the Hill, vinyl records; the Fox Theatre, a music venue; the Flatiron Theatre, now closed; and Jones Drug and General Store, now closed.The Hill was popular with street people, who were not welcomed by business owners. The riots in May, 1971 resulted from an attempt by Boulder police, in response to complaints by businesses, to apply broken-window policing. Few, if any, students were involved. The riots involved hundreds of people and over 100 police and lasted 3 days; there were many arrests.The City of Boulder has established the Hill Revitalization Working Group, an organization of stakeholders with interests on or with University Hill. It has been concerned with improving the business and residential climate on the Hill including the behavior of partying university students who sometimes celebrate later and more loudly than is acceptable.

The University of Colorado Museum of Natural History is a museum of natural history in Boulder, Colorado. With more than four million artifacts and specimens in the areas of anthropology, botany, entomology, paleontology and zoology, the museum houses one of the most extensive and respected natural history collections in the Rocky Mountain and Plains regions, making it one of the top university natural science museums in the country. In 2003, the University of Colorado Museum received accreditation by the American Alliance of Museums.The museum was founded in 1902, when Judge Junius Henderson was appointed its first curator. The University of Colorado Museum is housed on the University of Colorado Boulder campus in the Henderson Building.

The Colorado Shakespeare Festival is a professional acting company in association with the University of Colorado at Boulder. It was established in 1958, making it one of the oldest such festivals in the United States, and has roots going back to the early 1900s. Each summer, the festival draws about 25,000 patrons to see the works of Shakespeare, as well as classics and contemporary plays, in the Mary Rippon Outdoor Theatre and indoor University Theatre. The company is made up of professional actors, directors, designers and artisans from around the United States and the world, along with student interns from around the nation. Timothy Orr, the current producing artistic director, was hired in 2014 after serving as an actor in the company since 2007 and associate producing artistic director since 2011.In early April 2020, with the uncertainty of the ongoing worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, CSF cancelled the summer 2020 season altogether.

Gamble Field was an outdoor sports stadium in the western United States, located on the campus of the University of Colorado in Boulder. It was the predecessor of Folsom Field.

New Vista is a small public high school in Boulder, Colorado, United States. It was founded in 1993 by Rona Wilensky. The Colorado Department of Education's School Accountability report has consistently rated New Vista high school has a "high" performing school.

The Norlin Quadrangle Historic District comprises the core of the main campus of the University of Colorado campus in Boulder, Colorado. The twelve buildings were designed to reflect a variety of architectural styles. The quadrangle was named after University of Colorado president George Norlin. Buildings on the quadrangle include the Norlin Library, Woodbury Arts and Sciences Building, Old Main, the Hale Science Building, University Theater, Macky Concert Hall and the Women's Studies Cottage.
