Asa and Caroline Wing House is a historic home located at Mexico in Oswego County, New York. It was probably built in the 1830s and is a 1+1⁄2-story frame settlement period structure. It has a fieldstone foundation, post and beam construction, plank walls, and gable roof. Asa and Caroline Wing purchased the home in 1847. It is a well-documented location used in harboring fugitive slaves. Specifically, from December 24–27, 1850, Asa Wing harbored seven members of the Thompson family in their flight to Canada.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2001.Caroline M. Mitchell Wing (1821–1889) married Asa Wing in 1843; he died in 1853.

Pleasant Lawn Cemetery is a historic cemetery located at Parish in Oswego County, New York. It was first used as a burial ground in 1814 and formally incorporated in 1871. Within the boundaries of this contributing site are three contributing buildings; a 19th-century receiving vault, the Mills-Petrie Mausoleum of 1899, and the Mills-Petrie Chapel of 1917. The earliest gravestones date from 1825.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.US Representative Hadwen C. Fuller (1895–1990) is buried there.

The district includes four contributing structures; the farmhouse, a dairy barn (1870), granary (c. 1850) and a hen house (c. 1910). Also on the property are a contributing stone wall, hand-dug well, and farm pond. The farmhouse is a five-bay, 1+1⁄2-story frame building with a gable roof built about 1838.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.

Hastings is a town in Oswego County, New York, United States. Its population was 9,450 at the 2010 census. It is named after Hastings Curtiss, a prominent citizen and member of the State Assembly in 1824. It is on the county's southern border. U.S. Route 11 and Interstate 81 pass through it.

Carley's Mills Schoolhouse is a historic one-room school building located at Hastings in Oswego County, New York. It is a modestly scaled, one story frame building built about 1870. On the rooftop is a hipped roof belfry, which still retains what appears to be the original bell. Also on the property is a cast iron water pump. It ceased being used as a school in 1953.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

Mexico is a town in the northeastern section of Oswego County, New York, United States. The population was 5,197 at the 2010 census. The town contains a village also named Mexico. Mexico has been referred to as the "Mother of Towns", as the original town as enacted by separate acts of 1792 and 1796 comprised an area that would eventually form six separate counties (Onondaga, Cortland, Oneida, Lewis, Jefferson, and Oswego). These six counties today contain a total of 84 separate towns that were once included in the original Town of Mexico. NY 69 passes through the town of Mexico and comes to an end in the village of Mexico, where it intersects with NY 104 (Main Street). U.S. Route 11 also passes through the town.

Fowler-Loomis House is a historic home located at Mexico in Oswego County, New York. It is a large, square, 1+1⁄2-story wood-frame house in the Greek Revival style. The residence was built in 1847 and is a full five bays in width with a low-rise hipped roof. It features a full-length, 2-story portico supported by four massive square columns.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
