Prescott Speed Hill Climb

Dixton Manor is a Grade II*-listed 16th-century manor house in the south of Alderton parish, Gloucestershire, England. The manor was built for John Higford in 1555. In the nineteenth century, it was acquired by Samuel Gist. In 1962, it was purchased by Charles Hambro, Baron Hambro.It has been listed Grade II* by English Heritage since 4 July 1960.

Prescott is a settlement and civil parish in the Cotswolds within the English county of Gloucestershire. There are scattered farms and houses. There may once have been a settlement around the chapel. Prescott Speed Hill Climb is a motor sport event held in the parish.

Gotherington railway station is a railway station serving the village of Gotherington in Gloucestershire, England. The station is located just to the north of the village. It is located on the former Cheltenham to Stratford-upon-Avon line, which was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1906. The station opened as Gotherington on 1 June 1906; it was renamed Gotherington Halt on 1 December 1940, and was closed on 13 June 1955. It was the first station to close on this route (most of the other stations closed in 1960). The line itself remained open until 1976. The track was later lifted by 1979.

Dixton Wood (grid reference SO979313) is a 13.14-hectare (32.5-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, notified in 2000. Dixton Wood is recognised as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) under the EU Habitats Directive.

Stanley Pontlarge lies on the steep northern escarpment of the Cotswolds. The Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway is a prominent feature of the landscape. In 1931 the parish had a population of 43.

Alstone is a village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Teddington, in the Tewkesbury district, in the county of Gloucestershire, England, situated between the towns of Tewkesbury and Winchcombe. In 1931 the parish had a population of 50.Until 1844 Alstone was part of an exclave of the county of Worcestershire. Alstone became a parish in 1866, on 1 April 1935 it was abolished and merged with Teddington.

Woodmancote is a village and civil parish in Gloucestershire, England. The parish lies immediately east of Bishop's Cleeve; the village is about 3+1⁄2 miles (6 km) north of Cheltenham. In old English the name meant 'woodmen's cottage' and an early form was Wudumannacote. In the southeast of the parish is the small village of Cleeve Hill, under the slopes of the hill of the same name. There is also an area called Woodmancote in Dursley, also in Gloucestershire.

Gotherington is a small village north of Bishops Cleeve in Gloucestershire, England. It is surrounded on the north by the villages of Woolstone and Oxenton, and to the south by Woodmancote and Bishop's Cleeve, a very large urban village. Gotherington has a population of around 1,200, while its neighbour, Bishops Cleeve, has a population of 15,000 (including celebrity chef Martin Bettan). The populations reduced at the 2011 census to 995 for Gotherington.

Bishop's Cleeve railway station was a railway station that served the village of Bishop's Cleeve in Gloucestershire, England. It was opened by the Great Western Railway in 1906, on its line between Stratford-upon-Avon and Cheltenham. It closed in March 1960, though the line itself remained open until 1976. The track was later lifted. From 1997 to 2001 the line was relaid by the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway (G-WR) through the station site and later reopened in 2003, though there are currently no plans to rebuild the station site, as of September 2016. The Midland Railway also opened a station, called Cleeve, on the nearby Birmingham and Gloucester Railway in 1843.

Bengrove is a village in Gloucestershire, England. It lies between Teddington and Alstone. Bengrove, Teddington and Alstone now lie in the Anglican Diocese of Worcester, although they have been part of Gloucestershire since 1932, falling within the borough and Parliamentary constituency of Tewkesbury. Bengrove farmhouse was built in the early 18th century, and Bangrove Farm in the 1660s.

Woolstone is a village and former civil parish now in the parish of Oxenton, in the Tewkesbury district, in the county of Gloucestershire, England. It is about 5 miles (8 km) miles from the town of Cheltenham. The village is on the southern side of Crane Hill and on the north bank of the Tirle Brook. In 1931 the parish had a population of 85. Woolstone has a church called St Martin's Church which is grade II* listed.

Cleeve Common (grid reference SO990260) is a 455-hectare (1,120-acre) biological and geological Site of Special Scientific Interest in Gloucestershire, England, notified in 1974. It is looked after by a small charity called Cleeve Common Trust, formally Cleeve Common Board of Conservators. It lies in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is on Cleeve Hill. There is a golf course on the site and the site is registered as a common. The site is on Jurassic limestones on the top of the Cotswold scarp. It is north-east of Cheltenham. It is a large site and is important for its biology and geology.
