Siekierczyn

Gmina Siekierczyn is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Lubań County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the village of Siekierczyn, which lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) west of Lubań, and 130 kilometres (81 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. The gmina covers an area of 49.55 square kilometres (19.1 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 4,510.

Platerówka ([platɛˈrufka]) (German: Nieder Linde) is a village in Lubań County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It is the seat of the administrative district (gmina) called Gmina Platerówka. It lies approximately 10 km (6 mi) south-west of Lubań, and 130 km (81 mi) west of the regional capital Wrocław. The name Platerówka comes from the name of the Emilia Plater Independent Women's Battalion (of the Polish I Corps in the Soviet Union), whose soldiers were settled in the village following World War II.

Near Nowa Karczma, there is an FM/TV-broadcasting facility, using a 134 metres tall guyed steel tube mast.
