Grønlands torg is a square in Grønland, Oslo, Norway. It was previously the largest square in the city. It featured Slaktehuset, Kjøtthallen and Gartnerhallen. The first two were demolished in 1974, while the latter burned down the same year. From the 1980s, it has received an urban renewal, with housing and commerce. It is served by Grønland of the Oslo Metro.

Grønland (meaning “Greenland” in Norwegian) is a neighbourhood in central Oslo, Norway. It is served by several tram and bus lines, as well as the Oslo Metro at the Grønland Station. The neighborhood, along with neighboring Tøyen, is considered to be very ethnically diverse and is home to a large population of immigrants.The neighbourhood is situated on the east side of Akerselva, five to ten minutes walking distance from Oslo Central Station and downtown Oslo. It stretches from Grünerløkka down to the fjord by Middelalderparken shore area.

Grønland is a rapid transit station on the Oslo Metro in the Common Tunnel serving all six lines. It is located in the business and residential area Grønland, between the stations Jernbanetorget to the west and Tøyen to the east. The station was opened on 22 May 1966 with the opening of the subway, and underwent refurbishments 1988–92. Peer Qvam was the original architect.In terms of passenger volume, Grønland is one of the smaller stations in the Common Tunnel. Although the area surrounding the station is close to the city centre, it is largely residential. The station has a small shopping centre adjacent to the ticket hall underground, and there is a greater number of shops still on the surface level. There are no direct connections between the subway and other modes of public transportation at Grønland, but the central coach station and a tramway stop are located a few minutes walk from the station. The subway schedule recommends that passengers use Grønland as a transfer point between different lines because its platforms are less crowded than its neighbouring stations. The platform walls consist of white tiling, making it unequivocally the brightest subway station of the entire subway system, and its lower patronage makes it less crowded than other stations in the Common Tunnel.

Norwegian School of Information Technology (Norwegian: Norges Informasjonsteknologiske Høgskole, NITH) is a Norwegian information technology university college located in Oslo, Norway. It previously had schools located in Bergen, Stavanger and Bærum, but these were later shut down. It was established in 1995 as a merger of NHI Datahøgskolen and NKI Ingeniørhøgskolen. It was known as Den Polytekniske Høgskolen (DPH) until 2002, when it took its current name. It has 600 students and a faculty of about 25 lecturers. Since 2007 it is owned by the company Anthon B Nilsen. In 2014, Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology was established as a result of the merger of the three colleges Westerdals School of Communication, NISS (Nordic Institute of Stage and Studio) and NITH (The Norwegian School of Information Technology). In 2017 Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology was bought up and merged with Kristiania University College. Today NITH lives on as the School of Economics, Innovation and Technology at Kristiania University College .

Oslo Bus Terminal (Norwegian: Oslo bussterminal) is the main bus station serving Oslo, Norway. It is connected to Grønland station. Also known as Oslo Bussterminal. Owned by Vaterland AS it is located beside Oslo Central Station and serves local buses to Akershus as well as domestic and international coaches.

The Nordic Institute of Stage and Studio (Norwegian: Nordisk Institutt for Scene og Studio) is a private college located in Oslo, Norway. It focuses on subjects related to stage, studio, film and television, and is one of the largest educational centers in the Nordic countries with this specific theme.Founded as Norsk Lydskole (Norwegian School of Sound) in 1985, the school has since expanded to include several courses related to performing arts. The course Popular Music has an option of entering year three of a bachelor's degree at the University of Wolverhampton, studying BA Popular Music or BA Music Technology & Popular Music. Since 2007 it has been owned by the investment company Anthon B Nilsen. In 2014, Westerdals Oslo School of Arts, Communication and Technology was established as a result of the merger of the three colleges Westerdals School of Communication, NISS (Nordic Institute of Stage and Studio) and NITH (The Norwegian School of Information Technology).

Maaemo is a three-Michelin-star restaurant Oslo, Norway. The name Maaemo derives from the Finnish language, meaning "Mother earth". The restaurant works in the New Nordic Cuisine genre, and focuses on local food and only uses organic, biodynamic, or wild produce. Kitchen chef is Danish Esben Holmboe Bang.The restaurant was, together with Danish Geranium, the first Nordic restaurant to be awarded three stars in the Michelin guide in February 2016.In June 2016, Maaemo was voted 61st best restaurant in the world at The World's 50 Best Restaurants awards. In 2018, it was placed 35th. In December 2019, the restaurant closed to move to another location. This resulted in the loss of all of its three Michelin stars in February 2020. In September 2021 Maaemo won back the three stars.

The Intercultural Museum (Interkulturelt Museum) is located at Tøyenbekken 5 in Oslo, Norway. The Intercultural Museum is a migration museum, and is primarily concerned with the collection, preservation and dissemination of Norwegian immigration history. Since 2006, the Intercultural Museum has been part of the Oslo Museum. It is situated in the district of Grønland and housed in a former police station which was built in 1900–1902 under design by architect Balthazar Lange (1854-1937). Intercultural Museum was founded in 1990 by Bente Guro Møller who was head of the museum until 2007. Mass immigration is a relatively recent phenomenon in Norway, starting with the influx of Pakistani migrant workers in the 1970s. The Intercultural Museum was established as a response to the immigration and the cultural changes it entailed. It has received much attention for its pioneer work with the new minority groups in Norway. In 2006, it was selected as "Museum of the Year" by the Norwegian Museums Association. The museum is open daily (except Mondays), and offers free entry to the main exhibits and the gallery of contemporary art. It also offers guided tours around Grønland, the historical "transit area" in downtown Oslo and one of the most obviously multicultural districts in the city.

Lilletorget (originally named Vaterlands Torv) is a square in Oslo, Norway. It was established as a square in 1867, and was named Lilletorvet from 1872. It is located near the Vaterland Bridge of Brugata.Ola Enstad's sculpture Neve og rose (English: Fist and Rose) from 1991 is located at Lilletorget.

Nybrua is a tram station which was open in February 2021. It is served by lines 11, 12, 17 and 18. It is located where the old tram station, ‘Hausmanns gate’ stood. It is located between Storgata (westbound) and Schous plass (Grünerløkka-Torshov Line) or Heimdalsgata. It is served with both SL79 and SL95 trams.
