Westerdals School of Communication (WSoC) (presently named Westerdals Institute of Creativity) was a private institution in Oslo of higher learning for uniqely gifted individuals. Admittance required 7th level genius Creative Intelligence on the Levels of intelligence and Genius-scale. In 2010, Westerdals was ranked one of the world's ten best in Creativity, Art and Communication schools in “Young Guns Schools of the Decade”

Aamodt bru is a suspension bridge located Oslo, Norway. It is a pedestrian bridge over the Aker River in the Oslo district of Grünerløkka.

The Oslo National Academy of the Arts (Norwegian: Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo, KHiO) is a university college in Oslo, Norway, that provides education in visual arts, design and performing arts. It is one of two public institutes of higher learning in Norway that teaches in visual arts and design, the other is the Bergen National Academy of the Arts in Bergen. The Norwegian National Academy of Opera (Norwegian: Statens operahøgskole) was established in 1964 as a two-year education in opera. The school was given collegiate status in 1982. In 1996 the National Academy of Opera became part of Oslo National Academy of the Arts (Kunsthøgskolen i Oslo, KHiO).

Alexander Kiellands plass is a square in Grünerløkka in Oslo, Norway. The square is located at Ila between Uelands gate, Maridalsveien and Waldemar Thranes gate, is 8,66 acres big and has the shape of a triangle with two long sides of ca. 260 meters and a short side of ca. 100 meters. The square, from 1914, is named after the author Alexander Kielland (1849–1906) from Stavanger. Prior to this, the square was called Steinløkka. It was made into a park around 1920. It is nearby a mall named Kjellands Hus. It is derved by Bus Line 21, 33, 34, and 54.

Blå ("Blue") is a jazz club in Grünerløkka, Oslo, Norway. Blå opened on February 28, 1998; the initiators were Kjell Einar Karlsen and Martin Revheim. It is located in factory building close to Akerselva, a river running through downtown. Darwin Porter of Frommer's describes the club as "the leading jazz club to Oslo. Dark and industrial, with lots of wrought iron and mellow lighting, this place books some of the best jazz acts in the world. The crowd is a mix of young and old, dressed in casual, but sophisticated attire." Despite this, the club has also featured other music genres, such as pop, rock, electronic and hip-hop.

Old Aker Church (Norwegian: Gamle Aker kirke) is a medieval era church located in Oslo, Norway. An active parish, the church is the oldest existing building in Oslo. The church is surrounded by Old Aker Cemetery.

Galleri Rom is an architectural gallery in Oslo, Norway. The "room" for art and architecture is an independent center operated by private owners with support from the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Culture, and is located at Maridalsveien 3.The gallery was founded in 1986 by the Norwegian architect Kjetil Trædal Thorsen. It is the leading architectural gallery for Norwegian architecture, specializing in experimental architecture, visionary architecture, architecture which integrates socio-political approaches, and research in urban living, as well as architecture inspired by the theater, literature, stage, and other art media. Its objectives include: Providing a venue in which ideas and theory about space and the use of space can be explored pragmatically, with focus on both process and experimentation. Exploration of the intersection between architecture and art. A meeting place for creative people to communicate through exhibits, courses, lectures, debates and workshops.Galleri Rom fosters art and architecture discussions across disciplines. They encourage research and experimentation in the design of space, use of decoration, and studies of public space. The work to enable dialogue among technical and artistic groups (architects, painters, artists, craftsmen, landscape architects and furniture designers) as well as the broader community.Since 2005 Henrik der Minassian has served as the Chief Executive Officer for the room for art and architecture in Oslo. Under his direction the gallery has sponsored projects for researchers at both art and architecture colleges in Norway since 2005.

Egeberg Castle (Norwegian: Egebergslottet) a building in St. Hanshaugen in Oslo, Norway. Egeberg was once Oslo's biggest private residence at 1600 square metres over two floors and a tower section. At the turn of the century, the a mansion stood tall surrounded by a big park and with a splendid view over the city and harbour.

Hausmania is a self-managed social centre and cultural house (Norwegian: Kulturhus) in Oslo, Norway. It was squatted in 1999 by a group of artists and run based on collectivist ideology. It is located alongside other squats at Hausmannsgate 34, in a zone designated as a cultural quarter. Hausmannsgate 42 was evicted in 2016. The centre hosts artist ateliers, a theatre, galleries, an internet space, a vegan café and a legal graffiti wall. Nearby are Kafe Hærverk and Vega Scene.

Christiania Burgher School (Christiania Borger- og Realskole or Christiania Borgerskole, commonly known as Borgerskolen) was a private middle school in Christiania (now Oslo), Norway. It was founded in 1812 and prepared pupils for enrolment at Oslo Cathedral School.The school was funded by tuition and throughout the 19th century, its pupils belonged to affluent families, such as the bourgeoisie and higher state officials. In the 20th century, the school received municipal subsidies and thus also pupils from less affluent backgrounds were able to attend. The school was closed down in 1932.
