Wormley, Hertfordshire

Turnford is a village in the Borough of Broxbourne, in Hertfordshire, England, in an area generally known as the Lee Valley. It is bounded by Wormley to the north, Cheshunt to the south and west, and its eastern boundary is formed largely by the Lee Navigation. Central London at Charing Cross is approximately 18 miles (29 km) south. At the 2001 census, together with Wormley, the village had a population of 8,146 in 3,399 households.

Aqueduct Lock (Number 8) is a lock on the River Lee Navigation close to Turnford.

Haileybury Turnford (formerly Turnford School) is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Turnford, Hertfordshire, England. Previously a community school administered by Hertfordshire County Council, in September 2015 Turnford School converted to academy status and was renamed Haileybury Turnford. The school is now sponsored by Haileybury and Imperial Service College, a private school in Hertford. Hertfordshire County Council continue to coordinate its admissions.

Cheshunt is a National Rail and London Overground station in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, England. On the National Rail network it is on the West Anglia Main Line, 14 miles 1 chain (22.6 km) from London Liverpool Street and situated between Waltham Cross and Broxbourne. On the London Overground network it is one of three northern termini of the Lea Valley lines.

Fishers Green is a settlement in the parish of Waltham Abbey in Essex, England, lying 1 mile (1.6 km) to the north of the main built-up area. It lies on the flood plain of the River Lea.

Wormleybury Brook is a tributary of the River Lea which rises in the hills south of White Stubbs Lane in Hertfordshire, England.

The River Lee Country Park is located in the Lee Valley Park and is managed by the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority. Covering 1,000 acres (400 ha) on either side of the River Lee Navigation between Waltham Abbey and Broxbourne, it is an area of lakes, watercourses, open spaces and three Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) linked by footpaths and cycle tracks. The site straddles the Hertfordshire/Essex boundary.
