The Looff Carousel in Pawtucket, Rhode Island is a historic carousel which was built in 1895 by Charles I. D. Looff. The carousel was originally located in a carnival called Lee Funland in upstate, New York. The carousel was relocated to its present location at Slater Park in 1910 where it continues to operate.

Slater Park is the oldest and largest public park in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The park is named after Samuel Slater, a famous American industrialist who constructed America's first water-powered textile mill in Pawtucket. The park lies on the banks of the beautiful Ten Mile River and features the 1685 Daggett House, the oldest house in Pawtucket. The park was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It also features an original Looff Carousel.

Wilde River is a stream in Seekonk, Massachusetts and Pawtucket, Rhode Island. It begins at Bitersweet Pond in Seekonk and flows 5.2 miles to its confluence with the Ten Mile River in Pawtucket.

The Daggett House is an historic house in Slater Park in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The house is the oldest standing house in Pawtucket and one of the oldest surviving buildings in the state.

The Seekonk Meadows Park (or simply The Meadows) is a park located in Seekonk, Massachusetts. It is located in the central portion of the town, on an eight-acre former landfill, surrounding the Seekonk Public Library. Upon its official opening on June 23, 2012, it became the towns first park.

The Prospect Heights Housing Project is a historic public housing complex at 560 Prospect Street in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. The project consists of 35 brick-faced two-story rowhouses, each containing between 6 and 10 units, and a single-story brick administration building, set on 21 acres (8.5 ha) in the southern part of the city. The complex was developed in 1941–42, with funding assistance from the United States Housing Authority, a New Deal-era housing initiative of the federal government. It is the one of two complexes of this type in the city, and has only seen relatively minor alterations.The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

The Sevenmile River or Seven Mile River is a river which flows through U.S. states of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. It flows approximately 9.8 miles (15.8 km).

North Seekonk is a census-designated place (CDP) in the town of Seekonk in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. The population was 2,643 at the 2010 census.

The Phillips Insulated Wire Company Complex is an historic industrial site at 413 Central Avenue in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Encompassing three city blocks, the Phillips complex includes fourteen brick buildings with more than 350,000 square feet (33,000 m2) of space. They were built by the Phillips Insulated Wire Company between about 1898 and 1927. The company, established in 1888, was one of the most successful manufacturers of coated wire products, in an industry that ranked as the third-largest in Pawtucket. The complex was used by a variety of owners for the manufacture of such products until 2003.The complex was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

McCoy Stadium is a former baseball stadium in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. From 1970 through 2020, it served as home field of the Pawtucket Red Sox (PawSox), a Minor League Baseball affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. Completed in 1942, the stadium first hosted an affiliated minor league team in 1946, the Pawtucket Slaters, a Boston Braves farm team. In 1981, the stadium hosted the longest professional baseball game in history, as the PawSox defeated the Rochester Red Wings in 33 innings by a score of 3–2.

Rumford is the northern section of the city of East Providence, Rhode Island, US. The Rumford section of East Providence borders Seekonk, Massachusetts, Pawtucket, Rhode Island, and the Ten Mile River (Seekonk River). Rumford has been part of three towns and two states: Rehoboth, Massachusetts, Seekonk and East Providence, Rhode Island. It became part of Rhode Island in 1862. Rumford Baking Powder was made in the town at the Rumford Chemical Works and was named after Sir Benjamin Thompson, Count Rumford. Wannamoisett Country Club was established in Rumford in 1898 on land rented from Rumford Chemical Works and it hosts the Northeast Amateur Invitational Golf Tournament each year. The 1931 PGA Championship was played here.About 150 acres (61 ha) of the Rumford area was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980, encompassing the historic heart of old Seekonk and the 19th-century center of East Providence.

WELH (88.1 FM) is a radio station owned by The Wheeler School of Providence, Rhode Island. Originally signing on in January 1995 with a pop alternative format and a line up of student DJs, WWKX veterans including Kickin Al Snape, a young Robby Bridges and others as "WELH: Taking Music to New Heights". In 1996 the station moved to a modern rock format programmed by student DJs as "Extreme 88", and later jazz and oldies, eventually offering programming from various groups (including Brown University, Rhode Island College, the Wheeler School itself, and community groups). From October 8, 2011 until September 30, 2021, WELH broadcast programming from Rhode Island Public Radio. Beginning in October 2021, the station has broadcast a primarily classic alternative format supplemented by radio shows from Wheeler School students on weeknights and electronic dance music during portions of the weekend. Its main studio is located on school grounds, at 216 Hope St. in Providence, however the transmitter is located in Seekonk, Massachusetts on the grounds of the "Wheeler Farm" (athletics complex).
