The Clark Equipment Company Administrative Complex is a collection of former manufacturing buildings located at 301-324 East Dewey Street and 204-302 North Red Bud Trail in Buchanan, Michigan. It was the original home of Clark Equipment Company, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023.

Buchanan High School is a comprehensive public high school located in Buchanan, Michigan, United States. The school serves grades 8-12 and is part of the Buchanan Community Schools district. The school and the community it serves is named after James Buchanan, the 15th President of the United States. Between 2012 and 2014, the school received local and national recognition for its student-led anti-bullying efforts and was named "Nicest School in America" in 2014 by Procter & Gamble as a part of its "Mean Stinks!" anti-bullying campaign. Since the class of 2017, all graduates residing within the school district are eligible for the Buchanan Promise scholarship which grants financial assistance towards the cost of attending a college, university or trade school. The amount was initially a maximum of $10,000 per graduate, but increased to a maximum of $15,000 per graduate beginning with the class of 2022.

The Moccasin Bluff Site (also designated 20BE8) is an archaeological site located along the Red Bud Trail and the St. Joseph River north of Buchanan, Michigan. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, and has been classified as a multi-component Prehistoric site with the major component dating to the Late Woodland/Upper Mississippian period.

The Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve is an arboretum, botanical garden, and nature preserve located at 13988 Range Line Road in Buchanan Township, Michigan. It covers an area of 105 acres (42 ha). It is open to the public; an admission fee is charged.

Moon Lake is a lake in Berrien County, in the U.S. state of Michigan. It is 8.062 acres (3.263 ha) in size.Moon Lake has the name of Zimri Moon, the original owner of the site.

Red Bud MX is a US motocross race track located in Buchanan, Michigan, USA. The track is located just north of town, surrounded the agricultural farming fields. It is home to one of the largest motocross tracks in the Midwest, is favorite to many pro riders, and is also known to have "The best dirt on earth." The track attracts 30,000+ attendees every Fourth of July weekend for the AMA Motocross Championship.

Buchanan Township is a civil township of Berrien County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 3,523. The city of Buchanan is located in the southeast portion of the township. Buchanan Township is bounded by Oronoko Charter Township to the north, Berrien Township to the north and northeast, Niles Township to the east, Bertrand Township to the south and southeast, Galien Township to the southwest, Weesaw Township to the west, and Baroda Township to the northwest. No major highways transit the township, although US 12 parallels the southern edge and US 31 passes just to the east.

WSMK (99.1 MHz, "Smokin' 99.1") is a commercial FM radio station licensed to Buchanan, Michigan, and serving the South Bend metropolitan area. It is owned by Marion R. Williams and broadcasts a Rhythmic contemporary radio format. The station's website says it is "Michiana's longest-standing, undefeated, baddest hip hop station." WSMK covers the Michiana area of Michigan and Indiana, including South Bend, Elkhart, Benton Harbor and Michigan City, although with less power than the major FM stations in the local radio market. The station has an effective radiated power of 6,000 watts. The studios, offices and transmitter are off South Philip Road in Niles, Michigan.
