Paradis Station

Paradis is a neighborhood (delområde) in the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the western part of the borough of Storhaug, just west of Nylund. It is served by Paradis Station of the Jæren Commuter Rail.

Stavanger University Hospital is one of Norway's largest hospitals with more than 7500 employees. The main hospital is situated in Stavanger, but it has several clinics and medical centers. SUS is the central hospital of Rogaland county, serving as the local hospital from the municipality of Hjelmeland in the north to the municipality of Sokndal in the south. The general service area of the hospital includes an estimated population of more than 330,000 people. SUS has an annual budget of approximately 5 billion NOK.Through cooperation with regional participants, SUS attempt to ensure that the research results with commercial potential reach the market. SUS cooperates with Stavanger Health Research (Stavanger Helseforskning) and Hjertelaget Research Foundation (Forskningsstiftelsen Hjertelaget) both of which both perform and administrate clinical research.

Hillevåg Station (Norwegian: Hillevåg holdeplass) was a railway station located in the city of Stavanger in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It was closed in 2009, and replaced by Paradis Station. The station was served by the Jæren Commuter Rail between Stavanger and Egersund. The station was located 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south of the city centre of Stavanger and used to have service every half hour.

Ullandhaug is a neighborhood (delområde) in the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located along the European route E39 highway in the borough of Hillevåg, south of the lake Mosvatnet. The neighborhood has a population of 6,636 which is distributed over an area of 2.55 square kilometres (630 acres).

Våland is a neighborhood (delområde) in the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Eiganes og Våland. It is located to the south part of central Stavanger—east of Mosvatnet lake. The neighborhood has a population of 6,152 which is distributed over an area of 2.23 square kilometres (550 acres).

Varden is a neighborhood (delområde) in the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the southern part of the borough of Storhaug, southeast of Paradis. The neighborhood has a population of 3,917 which is distributed over an area of 1.5 square kilometres (370 acres). Varden Church is located in this neighborhood.

Varden Church (Norwegian: Varden kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the Varden in the borough of Storhaug in the city of Stavanger. It is the church for the Varden parish which is part of the Stavanger domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The red brick church was built in a rectangular design in 1967 using designs by the architects Jan Jæger and Per Faltinsen. The church seats about 430 people.

Stavanger Heliport, University Hospital (ICAO: ENSX; Norwegian: Stavanger helikopterplass, Universitetssykehuset) is a heliport situated on the premises of Stavanger University Hospital in the Våland neighborhood of the city of Stavanger in the municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. Used exclusively for air ambulance services, it is home to a Eurocopter EC-135P2+ operated by Norsk Luftambulanse (NLA) on contract with the National Air Ambulance Service. The base is owned by Stavanger Hospital Trust. When it opened in 1981, it was the second such base in the country.

Hillevåg Church (Norwegian: Hillevåg kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the southern part of the large Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Hillevåg in the central part of the city of Stavanger. It is the church for the Hillevåg parish which is part of the Ytre Stavanger prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, concrete church was built in a rectangular design in 1961 using designs by the architects Valdemar Hansteen and Erik Thesen. The church seats about 370 people.

Hillevåg is a borough of the city of Stavanger which lies in the southwestern part of the large municipality of Stavanger in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located southwest of the city centre, south of the lake Mosvatnet, and north of the borough of Hinna. Hillevåg was a part of the old municipality of Hetland until 1965. The borough has residential areas as well as some industrial areas. The University of Stavanger and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate are located in Hillevåg also. The 8.08-square-kilometre (2,000-acre) borough has a population (2016) of 19,681. This gives the borough a population density of 2,436 inhabitants per square kilometre (6,310/sq mi).

Stavanger Museum is a museum of natural and cultural history established in 1877, located in the Norwegian city Stavanger. The museum's collections consist of several departments: the department of zoology, the department for cultural history (which also includes custodianship of the royal residence Ledaal). Departments include the Stavanger Museum of Natural History, Stavanger Maritime Museum, Norwegian Children's Museum, Norwegian Printing Museum, Stavanger School Museum, Stavanger Art Museum, and Norwegian Canning Museum.

Frue Church or Hetland Church (Norwegian: Frue kirke/Hetlandskirken) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Stavanger Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Storhaug in the centre of the city of Stavanger. It is one of the two churches for the St. Johannes parish which is part of the Stavanger domprosti (arch-deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in the long church style in 1854 using designs by the architect Hans Hansen Kaas. The church seats about 700 people. The church was originally built as the main church for the old municipality of Hetland and it was known as Hetland Church, but after it was merged into the city of Stavanger, the church has been officially known as Frue Church, however the old name is still in use.
