Atlantic station (Los Angeles Metro)

East LA Civic Center station is an at-grade light rail station on the L Line of the Los Angeles Metro Rail system. It is located at the intersection of 3rd Street and Mednik Avenue in East Los Angeles, California. The station is served by the L Line. This station opened on November 15, 2009, as part of the Gold Line Eastside Extension. This station and all the other Eastside Extension stations will be part of the E Line upon completion of the Regional Connector project in 2023.

James A. Garfield High School is a public, year-round high school founded in 1925 in East Los Angeles, an unincorporated section of Los Angeles County, California. The proportion of advanced placement by students at Garfield is 38%. Students who are in unfavorable circumstances, with regard to financial or social opportunities, comprise about 93% of the student population. The minority comprehensive admission is 100%. Garfield is one out of 254 high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District as of 2020. The magnet program in the high school focuses on serving students who plan to study in the Computer Science field. The school was made famous by the film Stand and Deliver about the teacher Jaime Escalante and the HBO film Walkout. The homecoming football game known as the East LA Classic has taken place since 1925.

The Vincent Price Art Museum (VPAM) is an art museum located at East Los Angeles College in Monterey Park, California, US.The museum is named after American actor Vincent Price who donated portions of his personal art collection to the college in 1957. The museum's collection now contains over 9,000 objects ranging from impressionist paintings to Japanese prints to objects from the Ancient Americas, 2,000 of which were donated by Price.It has been a venue for underrepresented artists since its founding, organizing key solo exhibitions for Los Angeles-based artists including Laura Aguilar, Carlos Almaraz, Nao Bustamante, Rafa Esparza, Judithe Hernández, Manuel López, Star Montana and Shizu Saldamando.In 2014 the museum presented Who Cares Wins!, a solo exhibition for L.A. artist Michael C. Hsiung. The installation showcased more than one-hundred ink drawings, paintings, and other related mixed-media works featuring the artist's signature graphic style, iconography, and wit.

East Los Angeles College (ELAC) is a public community college in Monterey Park, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. It is part of the California Community Colleges System and the Los Angeles Community College District. With fourteen communities comprising its primary service area and an enrollment of 35,403 students, ELAC had the largest student body campus by enrollment in the state of California as of 2018. It was situated in northeastern East Los Angeles before that part of unincorporated East Los Angeles was annexed by Monterey Park in the early 1970s. ELAC offers associate degrees and certificates.

Weingart Stadium (formerly East Los Angeles College Stadium or ELAC Stadium) is a 22,355-capacity multi-purpose stadium located at East Los Angeles College, in Monterey Park, California. It was built in 1951 at a cost of $3.1 million, and following renovations in 1984 it was renamed after philanthropist Ben Weingart.

East Los Angeles (Spanish: Este de Los Ángeles), or East L.A., often referred to by locals as "East Los", is an unincorporated area in Los Angeles County, California, United States. For statistical purposes, the United States Census Bureau regards East Los Angeles as a census-designated place (CDP). As of the 2020 census it had a population of 118,786, a drop of 6.1% from 2010, when the population was 126,496.The area is notable for its high Hispanic/Latino population, which, at over 95%, is the highest proportion of Hispanic/Latino Americans of any city or census-designated place in the United States outside of Puerto Rico.

Golden Gate Theater is a California Churrigueresque-style movie palace built in 1927 on Whittier Boulevard in East Los Angeles, California. In 1982, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The theater closed in 1986; the retail building built around it was damaged in the 1987 Whittier Narrows earthquake and demolished in 1992. The remaining theater building was left vacant for more than 20 years as preservationists fought with owners and developers over the future of the building. It was finally converted into a drugstore and reopened in 2012.

It is located at the intersection of 3rd Street and Ford Boulevard in East Los Angeles, California near Interstate 710. This station opened in 2009 as part of the Gold Line Eastside Extension. This station and all the other Eastside Extension stations will be part of the E Line upon completion of the Regional Connector project in 2023.

The Chinese Cemetery of Los Angeles is one of several historical cemeteries found around East Los Angeles, including Evergreen and Calvary cemeteries. Located at First Street and Eastern Avenue in the Belvedere Gardens section of East Los Angeles, today the cemetery is now bordered on the south by the Pomona Freeway (60) and on the east by the Long Beach Freeway (710). The cemetery was established by the Chinese Consolidated Benevolent Association of Los Angeles (CCBA) in 1922 to provide burial grounds for Chinese residents in Los Angeles, as at the time, all cemeteries in Los Angeles barred anyone of Chinese descent from purchasing burial plots.CCBA also owns a section of the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills that also functions as a Chinese Cemetery.

East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy (ELARA) Renaissance; officially East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy at Esteban E. Torres High School No. 2, unofficially East Los Angeles Renaissance Academy, School of Urban Planning and Public Policy, is a small public, coeducational, pilot secondary school of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) located in East Los Angeles, California. Founded in 2010 as an attempt to relieve student overcrowding at James A. Garfield High School, ELARA is one of five small schools established on the Esteban E. Torres High School campus, alongside East Los Angeles Performing Arts Magnet (ELAPA Magnet), Humanitas Academy of Arts and Technology (HAAT), Social Justice Leadership Academy (SJLA), and Engineering and Technology Academy (ETA). ELARA is a four-year high school with an enrollment of 439 students for the 2020-2021 academy year. The school is distinctive for its curricular emphasis on the field of urban planning and public policy. Students are offered core academic courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, and courses required to prepare students for admission to University of California (UC) and California State University (CSU) systems.

Esteban Torres High School is a public high school, it opened in 2010 in East Los Angeles, an unincorporated section of Los Angeles County, California.

Calvary Cemetery is a Roman Catholic cemetery that the Archdiocese of Los Angeles runs in the community of East Los Angeles. It is also called "New Calvary Cemetery" because it succeeded the original Calvary Cemetery (on north Broadway), over which Cathedral High School was built.
