Mt. Cuba Center

Mount Cuba Historic District is a national historic district at Mount Cuba, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses twelve contributing buildings, one contributing site, and four contributing structures on seven properties that lie along County Road 261. Notable buildings include the Speakman's grist mill, saw mill, and adjoining stone house; and a number of frame dwellings in a variety of popular mid to late 19th-century architectural styles including Gothic Revival. The contributing site is the Mt. Cuba picnic grounds.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

J. Mason Farm is a historic farm located near Ashland, New Castle County, Delaware. The property includes two contributing buildings. They are a stone house (1827) and a stone and frame bank barn (c. 1827). The house is a two-story, gable-roofed, fieldstone structure with a two-story, three bay, frame wing that may have been added in the 1930s or 1940s. The barn walls are of uncoursed fieldstone finished with a pebbled stucco.In the 20th Century, it became part of Ashland Farm, a Du Pont estate. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

The Samuel P. Dixon Farm is a historic farm near Ashland, New Castle County, Delaware. The property includes three contributing stone buildings: a house, a spring house and a tri-level bank barn. The house is a two-story, four-bay dwelling in two sections. The older section is dated to the late 18th or early 19th century, with an addition before 1830, about the time the barn was built.In the 20th Century, it became part of Ashland Farm, a Du Pont estate. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Ashland Covered Bridge, also known as Ashland Bridge or Barley Mill Road Covered Bridge, is a covered bridge over Red Clay Creek on Barley Mill Road (near the junction of Brackenville Road) in Ashland in New Castle County, Delaware. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

Mount Cuba Astronomical Observatory is an astronomical observatory is located at 1610 Hillside Mill Road, Greenville, Delaware, United States. This observatory is home to a 0.6-meter telescope used by the Delaware Astronomical Society, the University of Delaware, and the Whole Earth Telescope. Associated with the Observatory is the Mt. Cuba Astronomy Group (MCAG). The MCAG is composed of interested amateurs and engages in astronomy education and public outreach. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month at the Mt. Cuba Astronomical Observatory. A Sunquest sundial, designed and machined by Richard L. Schmoyer, is on the Mount Cuba Observatory grounds near the parking lot. This mean time sundial automatically corrects for the equation of time through the use of an analemma-inspired gnomon.

Graves Mill Historic District is a national historic district located near Ashland, New Castle County, Delaware. It encompasses 7 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures that are associated with Graves Mill. They include the Samuel Graves Mill, the Hayes Graves House and barn, the David Graves House and barn, and two houses associated with William Armstrong.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Stockton-Montmorency is a historic house at 1700 Walnut Green Road in Greenville, Delaware. This elegant brick Colonial Revival house, originally just called "Stockton", was designed by William Lawrence Bottomley and built in 1937 for Helen Page Echols and Angus Echols. The house was purchased in the 1960s by Henry E. I. du Pont, who added "Montmorency" to its name.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.

Hoopes Reservoir is a reservoir in New Castle County, Delaware. The reservoir first impounded the water of Old Mill Stream and Red Clay Creek in 1932, with a dam built by the city of Wilmington, Delaware, for municipal drinking water. It has a water surface of 187 acres, a maximum capacity of 11,000 acre-feet, and a normal capacity of 6300 acre-feet. The reservoir and its surroundings have been open to the public since 1971. It is the largest reservoir in Delaware. The dam, Edgar M. Hoopes Dam (National ID # DE00015), is a concrete gravity dam originally built in 1932 and restructured several times since. It is 135 feet high and 845 feet in length at the crest. Its namesake, Edgar M. Hoopes, was Chief Engineer of the Wilmington Water Department from 1913 through 1918, according to a plaque on site.

Wilmington Christian School (WCS) is a private, non-denominational college preparatory Christian school. Founded in 1946 in the city of Wilmington, Delaware, it has since consolidated its elementary and secondary schools to a 15-acre (61,000 m2) campus in the suburban Hockessin area and enrolls over 400 students in Pre-K2 through 12th grade. WCS is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and a member of the Mid-Atlantic Christian School Association (MACSA), and the Delaware Association of Independent Schools. WCS competes in the Independent Conference for interscholastic sports.

Walnut Green School, also known as District School Number 25, is a historic one-room school building located at Greenville, New Castle County, Delaware. It was founded in 1808 and in 1924 was said to be the oldest schoolhouse in the state. It is a one-story, five-bay, rectangular, gambrel-roofed, white-stuccoed stone building in the Colonial Revival style. The school building dates to the late-18th century, but was expanded and remodeled in 1918–1924. The school closed in 1947, because parents wanted their children to go to the AI duPont school district.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

Wooddale Historic District, also known as the Delaware Iron Works, is a national historic district located at Wooddale in New Castle County, Delaware.
