Opatija Circuit

Volosko (Italian: Volosco, Volosca) is a part of the city of Opatija, located in the Kvarner Gulf in western Croatia. It is located in the north of Opatija, on the road towards Kastav and Rijeka. The toponym Volosko drives from the name of the Slavic deity Veles.

Matulji (Italian: Mattuglie) is a municipality in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia. It is located 10 kilometers (6 mi) west of the city of Rijeka, north of the town of Opatija, and it borders Slovenia. Matulji is first mentioned in written historical sources in the middle of the 17th century, and it is preceded by the surname Matulja, which was originally recorded as Matuglia. As early as the beginning of the 19th century, official documents recorded the name of the settlement in its current form – Matulji.

Kastav (Italian: Castua) is a town in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County, Croatia, built on a 365 m high hill overlooking the Kvarner Gulf in the northern part of the Adriatic coast. It is in close vicinity of Rijeka, the largest port in Croatia, and the Opatija Riviera, one of the popular tourist destinations in Croatia.

Hotel Imperial is a hotel in Opatija and was the second hotel on the Adriatic coast. It opened in 1885 and is built in the Art Nouveau style.

Opatija (Croatian: [opǎtija]; Italian: Abbazia; German: Sankt Jakobi) is a town and a municipality in Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in western Croatia. The traditional seaside resort on the Kvarner Gulf is known for its Mediterranean climate and its historic buildings reminiscent of the Austrian Riviera.

The Carmen Sylva forest path (Croatian: Šetalište Carmen Sylve) is a trail in Opatija, Croatia. The forest path, which starts approx. 45°20'00.3"N 14°17'50.0"E and ends approx. 45°20'58.7"N 14°18'35.5"E, was originally called "King Carol's Forest Trail" (König-Carol-Waldweg). King Carol I of Romania came to Opatija in April 1896 and stayed in the Villa Angiolina together with his wife Elisabeth (née Elisabeth of Wied), also known by her literary name of Carmen Sylva. King Carol I is said to have discovered the trail during a horse ride in the woods beneath Veprinac. A plaque today commemorates Baron Arthur Schmidt-Zabierow, the former district principal of Volosko, who constructed the path with funds donated by King Carol.

Kantrida Stadium (Croatian: Stadion Kantrida) is a football stadium in the Croatian city of Rijeka. It is named after the Kantrida neighbourhood in which it is located, in the western part of the city. It has served as the home of the HNK Rijeka football club for most years since at least 1918. The stadium has a distinctive appearance as it is situated between steep cliffs, a remnant of an old quarry, just north of the stadium and the shore of the Adriatic on its south side.Since 1990 the venue was occasionally used for Croatia national football team's international fixtures. The national team has never been defeated at Kantrida. The stadium has a seating capacity of approximately 10,600. The stadium is scheduled for major reconstruction over the next several years. A new state-of-the-art 14,438 capacity all-seater stadium will be built at the same location.

Centar Zamet (English: Centre Zamet) is a sports hall in Rijeka, with sporting, cultural, business and entertainment events.The hall was built in Zamet in 2009 .The size of the hall is 16,830 m², and the surface of outer space is 88,075 m².

Viškovo is a village and a municipality in the Primorje-Gorski Kotar County in western Croatia.

Rijeka Mosque (Croatian and Bosnian: Džamija u Rijeci) is a mosque in Rijeka, Croatia built between 2009 and 2013. The project of the mosque and the cultural center was originally developed by Dušan Džamonja in cooperation with Branko Vučinović and Darko Vlahović. The entire project costed 76 million Croatian kuna with significant contribution by the state of Qatar. Croatian media described the building as one of the most beautiful mosques in Europe. The mosque is a part of the Islamic Cultural Center which was built on the 10,816 square meters plot and which itself covers 5,291 square meters (3,612 square meters of closed space).
