The Army Training Centre Pirbright is an initial training establishment of the British Army, at Pirbright Camp.

Bisley Camp railway station served the National Rifle Association in Bisley, Surrey, England, from 1890 to 1952 on Bisley Camp branch line.

The National Rifle Association (NRA) is the governing body for full bore rifle and pistol shooting sports in the United Kingdom. The Association was founded in 1859 with the founding aim of raising funds for an annual national rifle meeting to improve standards of marksmanship. Today the NRA continues this objective as well as organising civilian target shooting and selecting British teams to contest the ICFRA World Championships. The National Shooting Centre at Bisley is a wholly owned subsidiary of the association.

Knowl Hill School is an independent school located in the village of Pirbright in Surrey. Knowl Hill is a co-educational (mixed gender) school. There is a Junior school with pupils from years 3 to year 8, and a Senior school with years 8 to 11. It is a relatively small school with up to 67 pupils. Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy is provided on site, and integrated into the lessons as well as being offered on a 1:1 basis. Teaching is multi-sensory in style and dyslexia friendly. Following the creation of an art block, the school also places some emphasis on the visual arts. Although the school is in Surrey, pupils come from different Local Educational Authorities, for example Kingston upon Thames, West Sussex and Hampshire.

The National Shooting Centre is the UK's largest shooting sports complex, comprising several shooting ranges as well as the large "Bisley Camp" complex of accommodation, clubhouses and support services. The centre is located near the village of Bisley in Surrey from which it takes its colloquial name "Bisley ranges". The site is wholly owned by the National Rifle Association (NRA). The NSC is the trading name of the facility.

Brookwood American Cemetery and Memorial is the only American Military Cemetery of World War I in the British Isles. Located approximately 28 miles (45 km) southwest of London, Brookwood American Cemetery contains the graves of 468 American war dead, including the graves of 41 unknown servicemen, from World War I.Maintained by the American Battle Monuments Commission, the cemetery of 4.5 acres (1.8 ha) lies to the west of the civilian Brookwood Cemetery, built by the London Necropolis Company and opened in 1854. The American cemetery is flanked by the much larger Brookwood Military Cemetery, maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, which contains more than 5,000 war dead from the two world wars.

Sheet's Heath Common near Brookwood, Surrey, England, is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), part of the larger Colony Bog and Bagshot Heath SSSI. It is also part of the Thames Basin Heaths Special Protection area, a network of sites protected for their ground nesting birds.

Admiral's Walk is a mock-Tudor country house in Pirbright, in the county of Surrey, England. It was built in the early 1900s, in the style of an Elizabethan manor house, and named after an avenue of Scots pines planted by the explorer Vice-Admiral John Byron. It stands on high ground within an estate of 33 acres, which in 1966 included 10 acres of formal and terraced gardens. Former residents have included the private solicitor to George V, Sir Bernard Halsey-Bircham, and the businessman Sir Adrian Jarvis, 2nd Baronet. In the 1970s, it was the principal filming location for three British horror sexploitation films, Virgin Witch, Satan's Slave and Terror.

Brookwood is a village in Surrey, England, about 3+1⁄2 miles (5.6 km) west of Woking, with a mixture of semi-rural, woodland-set and archetypal suburban residential homes. It lies on the western border of the Woking Borough, with a small part of the village in Guildford Borough. As part of the 2016 boundary review, Brookwood became part of the Heathlands ward which comprises Brookwood, Bridley, Hook Heath, Mayford, Sutton Green and Barnsbury and Wych Hill.The village is known for the 500-acre Brookwood Cemetery, also called the London Necropolis. The village also gave its name to the former Victorian Brookwood Hospital, once the leading mental institution in Surrey. Since its closure in 1994, it has been redeveloped as housing.

Burner's Heath and Swallows Pond is a 5-hectare (12-acre) nature reserve in Pirbright in Surrey. It is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by the Surrey Wildlife Trust.This site is mainly woodland. It is a conifer plantation with areas of broadleaf trees, heath and acid grassland.There is access from the A324 and B3032 roads.
