Auf dem Acker

The Kleiner Wurzelnberg hill rises to a height of 610 m above NN in the Harz mountains of Germany, 3.7 km northeast of Sieber in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. It forms a rounded summit (Kuppe) on one of the ridges running south of the Acker which acts as the watershed between the Verlorene Kulmke and the Kleine Kulmke. The Großer Wurzelnberg is located 750 metres further east on the other side of the valley of the Kleine Kulmke.

The Wolfskopf ("Wolf's Head") is a 668.5 metre high mountain in the West Harz in central Germany. It lies in the district of Göttingen roughly 2 km east of Kamschlacken and about 5 km southwest of Altenau. The Wolfsklippen crags, to the south which extend for about 60 metres in length (580 to 640 m above NN), are classed as a natural monument.

The Sperberhai Dyke (German: Sperberhaier Damm) is in fact an aqueduct which forms part of the Upper Harz Water Regale network of reservoirs, ditches, dams and tunnels in the Harz mountains of central Germany. It carries the water of the Dyke Ditch over the depression of the Sperberhai to the Clausthal plateau. The Sperberhai Dyke was built in 1732 - 34 in order to satisfy the rising demand for water power for the water wheels of the Clausthal mines. The water crossed the embankment in a channel along its crest. The channel is only visible today at its western end. Its hydraulic capacity at peak times was up to 1,000 litres per second.

Kleine Kulmke is river of Lower Saxony, Germany, in the Harz Mountains, a tributary of the Große Kulmke. The Kleine Kulmke rises at a height of 690 m near the Schmierplatz on the Auf dem Acker ridge north-northeast of Sieber in the district of Göttingen and flows initially southwards to its confluence with the Verlorene Kulmke ("Lost Kulmke", 428 m), from which it is separated by the Kleiner Wurzelnberg hill. It then flows in a southwest to south-southwest direction before uniting with the Große Kulmke ("Big Kulmke") after 3.4 km (2.1 mi) at a height of 392 m. The valley of the Kleine Kulmke partly belongs to the Sieber Valley (Siebertal) nature reserve.

Harz is an unincorporated area in the German district of Goslar. The uninhabited area is located in the Upper Harz (Lower Saxony). With a size of 371.76 km2 (31 December 2006), it is the largest unincorporated area in Germany. Although there are no residents reported, it carries administrative functions; the Community Identification Number is 03 1 53 504. The area extends over large parts of the Upper Harz, from Seesen/Langelsheim in the northwest to Hohegeiß in the south of the district of Goslar. The Harz unincorporated area in the district of Goslar has many enclaves: Thus the community of Clausthal-Zellerfeld has two exclave districts, Wildemann and Altenau-Schulenberg im Oberharz, and the community of Braunlage has an exclave district, Sankt Andreasberg, and other settlements (mostly restaurants) within the Harz area. The administration of the community-free area is the responsibility of the Lower Saxony Forestry Office Clausthal, which also collects business taxes from some quarries and would issue civil status certificate (birth certificate, death certificate) for events that occurred in the area. The forestry office also provides security and order.

Große Kulmke is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. The Große Kulmke is a tributary of the Sieber in central Germany. It rises near the natural monument of Mönchskappenklippe near the ridge of Auf dem Acker, north-northeast of Sieber in the district of Göttingen in Lower Saxony. It then flows mainly in a southerly direction, separated from the Sieber by the Königsberg. After 5 km (3.1 mi) it merges with the Kleine Kulmke at an elevation of 392 m (1,286 ft). The valley of the Große Kulmke is part of the Sieber Valley (Siebertal) nature reserve.

Gropenborn is a river of Lower Saxony, Germany. It rises to over 560 meters above sea level and flows mostly to the northwest, where it is separated by the Gropenbornskopf from the Sieber. After about 2 km (1.2 mi) it discharges an altitude of less than 340 m northeast of the village Sieber in the district of Göttingen into the Sieber. The dominant organism group are caddisflies with 12 species.

The administrative district (Verwaltungsbezirk) of Harz (Landkreis Göttingen) is an unincorporated area in the German district of Göttingen. Until the merger of the old districts of Osterode am Harz and Göttingen, it was known as "Harz (Landkreis Osterode am Harz)".

The Sieberstollen is an adit (German: Wasserlösungsstollen) for water drainage in Sankt Andreasberg, in the Harz mountains. It was created during mining in the Upper Harz and named after the river Sieber into which it discharges its water. The opening position is in the Sieber Valley.The first 11.7 km of the 13.1 km adit forms part of the Upper Harz Water Regale and has been declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.
