Burroughs Creek is a stream in St. Louis County in the U.S. state of Missouri. The 1-mile (1.6 km) long stream is a tributary to Black Creek.Burroughs Creek is named after John Burroughs (1837–1921), an American naturalist and nature essayist.

Richmond Heights station is a St. Louis MetroLink station. It is located near the interchange of Interstate 170 and Galleria Parkway in Richmond Heights, Missouri and serves the popular Saint Louis Galleria shopping mall, The Boulevard mixed-use development, the University Club Tower, and neighboring residential areas. The station has a small commuter parking lot with 57 spaces and includes a kiss and ride turnaround.

Shaw Park is a 30-acre park in Clayton, Missouri, a near suburb of St. Louis. The city's largest and oldest park, it is bordered by Forsyth Boulevard and Forest Park Parkway on the north and south, and Interstate 170 and Forsyth Boulevard on the west and east. The park is west of St. Louis County District Courthouse and adjacent to Clayton High School. Shaw Park was founded in 1935 under Mayor Charles A. Shaw. The park was dedicated in 1937 and cost $280,000, with $30,000 coming from the city of Clayton and the rest coming from the federal government. Shaw Park has an Olympic-sized swimming pool, 11 tennis courts, a baseball and soccer field, volleyball courts, handball courts, a sensory garden, a trail, a playground, and multiple pavilions. It hosts the annual St. Louis Art Fair and Taste of Clayton events.

Clayton station is a St. Louis MetroLink station. This at-grade station is located in the median of Forest Park Parkway between South Central Avenue and South Meramec Avenue, and serves the Clayton Central Business District, the St. Louis County Government Complex and area residents. Public parking is available in the attached county garage. However, this parking is not supplied by Metro, therefore charges may apply.

The St. Louis County Law Library in Missouri was established in 1941 as a public law library under Missouri Statute. [1] It is located on the sixth floor of the Courts building in the St. Louis County Courthouse at 105 South Central in Clayton, Missouri. It operates as a public agency, independent of St. Louis County government. It is funded from a portion of the surcharge paid by parties to civil lawsuits in the 21st Judicial Circuit of the Missouri Circuit Courts. [2]

Brentwood I-64 station is a St. Louis MetroLink station. Located on Eager Road in Brentwood, Missouri, just southeast of the Interstate 64/Interstate 170 interchange, it serves the large Brentwood Promenade shopping center and the Hanley Industrial Court business park. The station includes 918 park and ride spaces in a parking garage with 22 additional long-term spaces. The ten story Brentwood Garage opened June 12, 2007 and included a bus transfer facility and retail spaces. The garage is shared by a large mixed-use development which can be accessed by a covered walkway on the fourth floor or at ground level.

The St. Louis County Jail is located inside the Buzz Westfall Justice Center in Clayton, Missouri at 100 South Central Avenue, about eight miles (13 km) from downtown St. Louis. The holding capacity of the facility is 1,400 male and female inmates. The St. Louis County Jail is a direct-supervision facility that detains adults and juveniles being tried as adults who are awaiting trial or serving county sentences and is the only jail in Missouri that holds an accreditation known as the ALDF from the American Correctional Association (ACA). Opened in March 1998, the center replaced both the jail in the 1949 St. Louis County Courthouse building and the Adult Correctional Building in Chesterfield, Missouri. The center was rededicated the "Buzz Westfall Justice Center" in 2004.

The St. Louis County Police Department (SLCPD) is the primary and largest law enforcement agency serving St. Louis County in the U.S. state of Missouri. The current Chief of Police is Colonel Kenneth Gregory. According to the Charter of St. Louis County, the county police chief has all of the criminal law enforcement duties of the sheriff of St. Louis County, except for the operation of the St. Louis County Jail, which is handled by the St. Louis County Department of Justice Services (civilian), court bailiff and service of civil process. Court bailiff/civil process duties are provided by a court-appointed sheriff and his employees, none of whom have law enforcement powers. The St. Louis County Police Department is the Largest County police agency in Missouri, based on number of employees, county population, and geographic area served. This change in law enforcement services occurred in 1955, when the St. Louis County Charter was amended by the voters to restrict the duties of the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office. The position of elected sheriff was eliminated. St. Louis County is one of two counties in Missouri that does not have an elected sheriff. With the charter amendment, all law enforcement services were assigned to a new police agency, the St. Louis County Police Department. The department is primarily responsible for law enforcement and investigations within unincorporated St. Louis County and contract municipalities, however, it has full police authority throughout the county, including its 88 municipalities which are also served by 58 local police departments, some of them very small. Additionally, St. Louis County police officers are authorized to enforce Missouri law in all counties in the state having a government of the first classification, which includes the independent City of St. Louis. Deputy Chief Kenneth Gregory was appointed to the position of Chief of Police on January 28, 2022 by the St. Louis County Board of Police Commissioners.

Missouri College was a for-profit college in St. Louis, Missouri. Founded in 1963, the school was accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools. Missouri College offered bachelor's degrees in Healthcare Management and specialized associate degrees in Business Administration, Dental Hygiene, Allied Health, and Occupational Therapy Assisting. Massage Therapy was one of the several diploma programs offered in the college catalog.Missouri College was a subsidiary of Weston Educational Inc.
