Union Meetinghouse (East Montpelier, Vermont)

The Parley Davis House is a historic house on Center Road in East Montpelier, Vermont. Built in stages between 1795 and about 1805, it is one of the oldest buildings in the community, built by one of the first settlers of Montpelier, and served as the site of town government until 1828. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Center Road Culvert is a historic stone culvert on Center Road at Mallory Brook in East Montpelier, Vermont. It was built in 1899 as an early project after the establishment of the Vermont Highway Commission in 1898, and is a well-preserved example of dry-laid stone box culvert. The last major work on the culvert was performed in 1930, after it suffered damage in Vermont's devastating 1927 floods. VTrans recommended the culvert undergo preservation rather than replacement following damage from Hurricane Irene, and Mallory Brook is to be rerouted through a larger modern structure. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020.

Union High School District No. 32, known as U-32 High School or U-32, is in East Montpelier, Vermont, United States. It is the regional reform high school for the central Vermont towns of Berlin, Calais, Middlesex, East Montpelier, and Worcester, and students from Orange, Washington, and Roxbury can choose attend U-32 after middle school. It encompasses grades seven through twelve in a combined middle and senior high school.

The East Village Meetinghouse, also known as the Old Brick Church, is a historic church at 55 Vermont Route 14 in East Montpelier, Vermont. Built in 1833-34, it is a fine local example of Greek Revival architecture, and has been the focal point of the historic East Village for most of its history. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

The Washington-5 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census. The Washington-5 District includes all of the Washington County city of Montpelier. As of the 2000 census, the state as a whole had a population of 608,827. As there are a total of 150 representatives, there were 4,059 residents per representative (or 8,118 residents per two representatives). The two member Washington-5 District had a population of 8,035 in that same census, 1.02% below the state average.

Montpelier Recreation Field is a baseball venue located in Montpelier, Vermont, United States and is the home field of the Vermont Mountaineers of the New England Collegiate Baseball League. The field has served as home of the Mountaineers since 2003.

Vermont College of Fine Arts (VCFA) is a private graduate-level art school in Montpelier, Vermont. It offers Master's degrees in a low-residency format. Located prominently on Ridge Street atop Seminary Hill, this 1872 Second Empire building has been a major visual and architectural landmark in the city since its construction. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural significance in 1975.

Association of Vermont Independent Colleges (AVIC) is a membership industry organization for independent Vermont higher education institutions. It was founded in 1982 and is located in Montpelier, the state capital. AVIC services school administrators and leaders of 12 private institutions, whose cooperative endeavors benefit member institutions as well as students and their families. AVIC is a member of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
