Caragh Lake

The Kerry Bog Village is an open-air museum situated in west County Kerry focused on the culture and history of Ireland. It is a tourist stop on the Ring of Kerry, between the towns of Killorglin and Glenbeigh. The outdoor museum recreates traditional Irish thatched cottages and the lives of their inhabitants during the 19th century. Its founder was involved in the resuscitation of the Kerry Bog Pony as a viable breed.The village's operators describe the village as the "only one of its kind in Europe", and its structures are furnished with antiques.

The River Caragh (Irish: Abhainn Chárthaí) is a river in County Kerry in southwestern Ireland. The river has a catchment area of about 66 square miles (170 km2), comes under the protection of a Special Area of Conservation ("Killarney National Park, MacGillycuddy's Reeks and Caragh River Catchment"). The rare Kerry Slug is known to have been identified in the area.

Lough Yganavan and Lough Nambrackdarrig (Irish: Loch Gaineamháin agus Loch na mBreac Dearg) are two lakes of ecological importance in County Kerry, Ireland. In 1988, Lough Nambrackdarrig and the southern half of Lough Yganavan were designated as National Nature Reserves (areas in ha: 3.9 & 25.3). Since 1998, the lakes have been included in a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) of 271.6 hectares (3 km2), which protects land in private ownership and the two state-owned nature reserves. The habitats in the SAC include fixed dunes, a type of machair.

Réalt na Mara, Cromane, is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from the fishing village of Cromane, eight miles west of Killorglin in County Kerry, Ireland. Cromane play football in maroon and white colours. The club fields teams from under-8 to senior level. The club's name is derived from the village's church, also called Réalt na Mara (Star of the Sea in English). The local national school also carries the same name. There was a club in Cromane in the mid-1950s. Indeed, in 1954, Pat O'Shea played for the Kerry minors as a Cromane player.

Cromane (Irish: An Cromán) is a village located in County Kerry, Ireland. It is 9 km (6 mi) west of Killorglin town and a similar distance to the village of Glenbeigh when travelling south-west.

Laune Rangers is a Gaelic football and Hurling club based in town of Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland. The club is affiliated to Kerry GAA. Rangers won the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship in 1996.

The Puck Fair (Irish: Aonach an Phoic, meaning "Fair of the He-Goat", poc being the Irish for a male goat) is one of Ireland's oldest fairs. It takes place annually from 10–12 August in Killorglin, County Kerry.

Castle Conway is a former castle and stately home in the town of Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland. Today only the ruins of one wall remain.

Killorglin (Irish: Cill Orglan, meaning 'Orgla's Church') is a town in County Kerry, Ireland. As of the 2016 CSO census, the town's population was 2,199. Killorglin is on the Ring of Kerry tourist route, and annual events include the August Puck Fair festival, which starts with the crowning and parading of a "king" wild goat.

The Laune Viaduct is a historic bridge in Killorglin, County Kerry, Ireland. The viaduct was located along the Great Southern and Western Railway's branch line from Farranfore to Valentia Harbour.Opened in 1885, the five-span rock-hewn limestone railway viaduct over the River Laune has single-arch sections to the east and to the west with limestone and red brick voussoirs. A three-span section leads to the centre with bow-string cast-iron girders on tapered limestone piers. The bridge was designed by S. G. Frazier. The three metal spans are each 95 ft long, each consisting of pairs of twin cross braced bow-string girders of part N-truss and part latticed members. The piers and bridge abutments are made of local limestone. The bridge was repaired in 1950 and closed in 1960. Renovations in 1993 were made to accommodate its use as footbridge.The bridge is a registered heritage site, number 21400701, by the National Inventory of Architectural Heritage. It is known locally as the "Metal Bridge".

Glenbeigh or Glanbehy (Irish: Gleann Beithe) is a village and civil parish on the Iveragh peninsula in County Kerry, Ireland. The parish includes Rossbeigh beach, Coomasahran Lake and a number of important rock art sites. Owing to its natural heritage, history and its location on both the Ring of Kerry and Wild Atlantic Way, Glenbeigh is a tourist destination. The village is surrounded by a horseshoe of hills and the Seefin Mountains. The Caragh and Behy rivers flow at either side of the village into Castlemaine Harbour.
