University of Udine

Palasport Primo Carnera is an indoor sporting arena located in Udine, Italy. The capacity of the arena is 3,850 people. It is currently home of the Pallalcesto Amatori Udine basketball team. It is named after former world heavyweight boxing champion Primo Carnera, who was born in Sequals, near Udine.The Palasport Primo Carnera will host many games of the 2017 FIBA Under-19 Women's Basketball World Cup, including the final.

The Stadio Friuli (known for sponsorship reasons as Dacia Arena) is an all-seater football stadium in Udine, Italy, and the home of Serie A club Udinese. The stadium was built in 1976 and has a capacity of 25,144. It is sponsored by Romanian car manufacturer Dacia.

The Parco Botanico Friulano "Cormor", also known as the Parco del Cormor or Parco Botanico del Cormôr, is a municipal park and botanical garden located in Udine, Friuli, Italy. The park was created 1990–93 by architect Roberto Pirzio Biroli, for which he won the International Piranesi Award, on a neglected site northwest of the town center. It covers 30 hectares between the Cormôr torrent and the Autostrada Alpe-Adria (A23), with dense plantings of woodland, open lawns, a belvedere, paths and small roads, and a children's play area.

The Tempio Ossario ai Caduti d'Italia is a church built in 1931 in Udine, in north-eastern Italy. The architects who realised the project are Limongelli and Gino Valle.

The Archdiocese of Udine (Latin: Archidioecesis Utinensis) is a Latin Church ecclesiastical territory or archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Italy. The see was established in 1751 when the Patriarchal see of Aquileia was divided. From 1818 to 1846 it was a suffragan diocese of the Patriarch of Venice.

Its capital was the city of Udine, which had a population of 99,242 inhabitants. The province had a population of 530,849 inhabitants over an area of 4,907.24 square kilometres (1,894.70 sq mi). It was abolished on 30 September 2017.

Birra Moretti (Italian pronunciation: [moˈretti]) is an Italian brewing company, founded in Udine in 1859 by Luigi Moretti. In 1996 the company was acquired by Heineken N.V. The brewing plant in Udine was sold to the newly formed Birra Castello S.p.A.; Moretti is now a brand of Heineken.

Palazzo Antonini also known as Palazzo Palladio and Palazzo Antonini-Maseri (after 2018), is a palazzo in Udine, northern Italy. It was designed by Italian Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio in the middle of the 16th century for the Antonini family, owner of various other palaces in Udine. The present owner is the University of Udine.

Piazza Libertà, also known as Piazza della Libertà is the oldest square in Udine, in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, Italy. The square sits in the open space below Udine Castle.In the square stands the town hall (Loggia del Lionello) built in 1448–1457 in the Venetian-Gothic style opposite a clock tower (Torre dell'Orologio) resembling that of the Piazza San Marco at Venice. It was begun in 1448 on a project by Nicolò Lionello, a local goldsmith, and was rebuilt following a fire in 1876. The new design was projected by the architect Andrea Scala. Opposite the Loggia del Lionello is the Loggia di San Giovanni, a Renaissance structure designed by Bernardino da Morcote. Other noteworthy monuments in the square are the Fountain by Giovanni Carrara, an architect from Bergamo (1542); the Columns bearing the Venetian Lion and the Statue of Justice (1614), the statues of Hercules and Cacus and the Statue of Peace (1819) which was donated to Udine by Emperor Francis I to commemorate the peace Treaty of Campoformido.The square has been known by a number of names including Plàzze dal Vin, Plàzze dal Común, and Piazza Contarena.

The Castle of Udine (Italian: Castello di Udine) is a historical building in Udine, northern Italy, built upon a hill in the historical center of the city (138 meters above sea level).

Liceo Classico statale Jacopo Stellini is a liceo classico in Udine, Italy, for pupils aged 14 to 19. The high school was founded in 1808, making it the oldest liceo classico in Udine. During World War I, Luigi Cadorna placed the headquarters of the Italian Army in the part of the school that had just been built in 1915, and after the war the liceo moved to its present location.
