Linz Airport (German: Flughafen Linz, IATA: LNZ, ICAO: LOWL) is a minor international airport located in Hörsching, near Linz, the third-largest city in Austria. It is also known as the Blue Danube Airport.

The Waldstadion (German pronunciation: [ˈvaltˌʃtaːdi̯ɔn] ), currently known as voestalpine Stadium for sponsorship purposes, is a multi-use stadium in Pasching, Austria. It is used for football matches and is the home ground of FC Juniors OÖ. Austrian Bundesliga club LASK Linz used the stadium until their new stadium was completed in 2023. The stadium holds 7,870 and was built in 1990. In 2016, LASK purchased the VIP tent from SV Grödig and installed it in the stadium. In February 2017, the stadium was refurbished, with a new away sector and extra home seating, this was required for the stadium to reach Austrian Bundesliga standards.TGW Logistics Group announced the stadium sponsorship in 2017. The company has operations in Europe, North America and Asia. Headquarters are in Wels, Austria. In 2011, it hosted the finals of the Fistball World Championship, in which the German team beat the local Austria by a score of 4-2. In mid-July 2019, Raiffeisen acquired the naming rights until LASK move out in 2022.

PlusCity is a shopping centre in Pasching in Upper Austria. It is located southwest of Linz and opened in October 1989.It has a total retail floor area of approximately 70,000 square meters on two main floors, which makes it the fifth largest mall in Austria. It houses about 200 stores and offers employment for 2,100 people.There are 4,200 parking spaces. Customer frequency is approximately 20,000 per day.

Hörsching is a municipality in the district Linz-Land in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It is next to the Linz Airport which is served by a shuttle bus from the Hörsching railway station. Anton Bruckner was schooled for a time in the village.

The UNO Shopping was a shopping mall in Leonding, Upper Austria and is located southwest of Linz. It was opened on 16 October 1990. In 2007, the mall had a revenue of 145 Million Euro. Since July 2012, the mall is empty with the exception of an apothecary and a consumer electronic retailer in an external part of the complex.

Leonding (German pronunciation: [ˈleːɔ̯nd̥iŋ] ) is a city southwest of Linz in the Austrian state of Upper Austria. It borders Puchenau and the river Danube in the north, Wilhering and Pasching in the west, Traun in the south and Linz in the east. With a population of more than 27 thousand people, Leonding is the most populous city of the Linz-Land district and the fourth most populous city in Upper Austria. It is very close to Linz and offers views of the Alps and therefore attracts the upper social classes for living without providing much infrastructure on its own. Due to the proximity of Linz and transport connections (like West railway, Westautobahn, B1 Wiener Straße or Linz Airport) it attracts companies like Rosenbauer, Ebner Industrieofenbau, Poloplast or Neuson. Other major employers are the UNO Shopping Center (approximately 850 jobs) as well as the Plus City Shopping Center (approximately 2200 jobs). From 1898 to 1905 Adolf Hitler lived in Leonding where he attended the local primary school and later a grammar school in nearby Linz. The graves of his parents Alois and Klara are in Leonding. His brother Edmund, who died of measles, was buried there too. A delegation of Passau National Socialists visited the family's grave illegally. Hitler visited the grave in 1938. In 2012, when a relative of Alois Hitler's first wife, Anna, did not renew the lease, the grave was dissolved.In 1903, Hitler's father died when drinking a glass of wine in a guesthouse in Leonding.Leonding is split up into 22 localities: Aichberg, Alharting, Berg, Bergham, Buchberg, Doppl, Enzenwinkl, Felling, Friesenegg, Gaumberg, Haag, Hart, Holzheim, Imberg, Jetzing, Leonding, Reith, Rufling, St. Isidor, Staudach, Untergaumberg and Zaubertal.

Traun (Austrian German: [traʊn] ) is an Austrian municipality located on the north bank of the river Traun and borders Linz, the capital of Upper Austria, to the east. The name Traun is derived from the Celtic word for river (dru). Traun is the fifth largest town in Upper Austria, located in the district of Linz-Land.

Puckinger See is a lake of Upper Austria. It is primarily used for recreation. The Puckinger See (or Lake Pucking) is an artificial local recreation area east of the town of Pucking, located near Linz. It includes a swimming area, a small lawn for sunbathing, tennis courts, an allotment garden, a sports center with a climbing hall and a beach volleyball court.
