New Indian Model School

Gulf Indian High School or GIHS is a CBSE affiliated school located in the Al Garhoud Area of Dubai . It is a senior secondary school with students from 3-17 of age accommodating classes from KG to 12. Students in 12th prepare for their All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) as it is their senior and final year. The school is affiliated to the CBSE, New Delhi. Dominated by discipline and well knit community, assessed by the KHDA it has been coming out with an 'Acceptable' consistently throughout the years. John M. Thomas, the school's founder and chairman, died in July 2022.

Al Falah University or AFU (Arabic: جامعة الفلاح) is a university in the Al Garhoud neighborhood of Dubai in the Emirate of Dubai. The institution was established in 2013 and opened its doors for its first batch of students in 2015. It is currently inactive; the university was put on probation by the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) in the United Arab Emirates in October 2021, and its accreditation and license were revoked around October 2022.The University had four colleges and academic programs: the College of Business Administration, the College of Law, the College of Mass Communication, and the College of Arts and Humanities. As of October 2022, the University's website has removed mention of its programs and admissions.

Grammar School in Dubai is a private school located in Al Garhoud, Dubai, UAE. The school is managed by Athena Education. Grammar School follows the British National Curriculum, offering the elementary school courses for students from FS1 up to Year 6, the middle school programme leading up to the IGCSE programme for students from Year 7 to Year 11, and the Advanced Subsidiary (AS) and A2 level programmes for students in Year 12 and Year 13. The Dubai Tennis Championships or Dubai Open (also known as the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships for sponsorship reasons) (formerly known for sponsorship reasons as the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships and the Dubai Duty Free Men's and Women's Championships) is a professional tennis tournament owned and organized by Dubai Duty Free and held annually in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on outdoor hardcourts. The tournament takes place at the end of February and organizes a men's and women's event. The tournament takes place under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. In 2001 the ATP upgraded the tournament from an ATP 250 level to a more prestigious ATP 500 level tournament. On the WTA Tour, it alternates yearly between a WTA 1000 level tournament and a WTA 500 level tournament. Prior to the 1990s there was an annual Dubai Tennis Championship played at the British Embassy. The Dubai Tennis Championships was the third tournament in pro tennis history to award equal prize money for both men and women, until 2021. The courts usually have a medium-fast speed considered to be similar in speed to the Shanghai and Swiss Indoor (Basel) courts.

The Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium is a tennis complex in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The complex is the host of the annual 500 series stop, the Dubai Tennis Championships. The Dubai Tennis Stadium has a capacity of 5,000 people.

Al Garhoud Bridge (in Arabic: جسر القرهود) is one of three road bridges over Dubai Creek, and one of five crossings, in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Al Garhoud Bridge forms the eastern end of the road toll (called Salik) that went into effect on 1 July 2007. Since the beginning of Salik, Al Garhoud Bridge has seen low amounts of traffic for Dubai.

The 13 lane Business Bay Crossing (In Arabic: معبر الخليج التجاري; also known as the Ras Al Khor Bridge (جسر راس الخور)) is one of the most recent bridges across Dubai Creek and was opened to traffic in June 2007. Six lanes travel from Deira to Bur Dubai while seven go from Bur Dubai to Deira. The Business Bay Crossing is located some 1.5 km South of Al Garhoud Bridge near Dubai Festival City and provides a new road corridor to motorists travelling between Bur Dubai and Deira and to Sharjah, in addition to Emirates Road and Sheikh Zayed Road. The bridge cost 800 million dirhams and has a capacity of 26,000 vehicles per hour. The bridge is 1.6 kilometres (0.99 mi) long, and has a maritime channel with a width of 60 m (196.850 ft) and a height of 15 m (49.213 ft). The bridge was built by BESIX, a company which made some major bridges in Dubai.

Palazzo Versace Dubai is a hotel and resort completed in Culture Village on the foreshore of Dubai Creek in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

D1 Tower is one of the main residential skyscrapers in Culture Village with a height of 284 metres (932 ft.). This 78 floor building has 526 units which include studio apartments, 1 bedroom apartments, 2 bedroom apartments, 3 bedroom apartments, 4 bedroom apartments, and 5 bedroom apartments, and 6 bedroom penthouses housed on high floors of the building. D1 Tower was developed by Enshaa who had purchased it from Emirates Sunland Group. The tower was developed in a joint project by Dubai Properties Group and Emirates Sunland Group. Holford Associates is the architectural firm that developed the framework for this building. D1 construction started in 2007 and it was ready for handover in 2015. D1 Tower at Jaddaf Waterfront has 231st position amongst the tallest buildings in the world. and Regionally, it ranks at 45th place amongst the tallest building in the Middle East. D1 Tower is adjacent to the Palazzo Versace Dubai.

Airport Terminal 1 (Arabic: لمطار- مبنى رقم 1) is a rapid transit station on the Red Line of the Dubai Metro in Dubai, UAE, serving the Terminal 1 of Dubai International Airport.The station opened as part of the Red Line on 30 April 2010. It is close to Dubai International Airport – Parking B. The station is also close to a number of bus routes.
