Lanreath

Bocaddon (Cornish: Boskadwen) is a hamlet in Cornwall, England, UK. It is in the civil parish of Lanreath and is half-a-mile north of Lanreath village, six miles (10 km) south-west of Liskeard.

Tresawson is a farm in the parish of Lanreath, Cornwall, England, UK. There are two other places with similar names: Tresawsan in the parish of Merther and Tresawsen in the parish of Perranzabuloe. The meaning of all three is "Englishmen's farm".

The Battle of Braddock Down took place during the south-western campaign of the First English Civil War. It was fought on open ground in Cornwall, on 19 January 1643. An apparently easy victory for the Royalists under Sir Ralph Hopton secured Cornwall for King Charles and confirmed Hopton's reputation as a commander. Hopton also gained respect for the mercy shown to his foe, of whom 1,500 were captured during and after the battle. The precise location of the battlefield is a matter of dispute, though English Heritage believe it to be within parkland at Boconnoc.

Pelynt (Cornish: Pluwnennys or Pluwnonna) is a civil parish and village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is 20 miles (32 km) west of Plymouth and four miles (6.5 km) west-northwest of Looe. Pelynt had a population of around 1,124 at the 2001 census which increased to 1,296 at the 2011 census. In addition, an electoral ward with the same name exists but extends towards Widegates avoiding Looe at all times. The population in 2011 for this ward was 4,453.

Trefanny Hill is a hamlet in the parish of Duloe, Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. The hamlet was formerly called Hille or Hill. None of the men from the hamlet returned from the First World War and it was abandoned for 50 years. It was purchased in 1962 and restored as a holiday village.

Couch's Mill is a small hamlet in east Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is in the parish of Boconnoc, a large private estate that borders the hamlet to the north.

Lansallos (Latin: Lansalux; Cornish: Lansalwys, meaning St Salwys' church) is a village in the civil parish of Polperro in south Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is situated between Polruan and Polperro about 5 miles (8 km) east of Fowey in Liskeard Registration District. Lansallos forms an ecclesiastical parish, including the hamlets of Landaviddy and Raphael, and lies on the South West Coast Path near Polperro. The civil parish is bordered by Looe to the east, Pelynt to the north and Lanteglos-by-Fowey to the west, whilst the ecclesiastical parish is nowadays combined with Talland its neighbour to the east forming a joint benefice. Its population in the 2001 census was 1,584, including Bocaddon and increasing to 1,592 at the 2011 census.

St Ildierna's Church, Lansallos is a Grade I listed parish church in the Church of England in Lansallos, Cornwall, built in the early 14th century. The church is noted for its 16th-century benches and bench ends. Serious damage was caused to the church, especially the roof, by a fire in 2005.
