Lianhua Road station

The collapse of Block 7 at Lotus Riverside (simplified Chinese: 莲花河畔景苑; traditional Chinese: 蓮花河畔景苑; pinyin: lián huā hé pàn jǐng yuàn, a 13-story residential apartment building located in Minhang District, Shanghai, China) in 2009 is an accident that killed one person.

Tangzhen (Chinese: 唐镇) is a station on Line 2 of the Shanghai Metro, located in the town of Tangzhen, Pudong. This station is part of the eastward extension from Guanglan Road to Pudong International Airport that opened on 8 April 2010.

Meilong railway station (simplified Chinese: 梅陇站; traditional Chinese: 梅隴站; pinyin: Méilǒng zhàn) was a railway station in Shanghai which has now been abolished in favor of the new Shanghai South railway station. It was located near Jinjiang Action Park, serving regular trains to and from Hangzhou.

The Children's Hospital of Fudan University (abbreviation: CHFU, Chinese: 复旦大学附属儿科医院, colloquially Fudan Children's Hospital) is a national-level tertiary children's hospital in Shanghai, China. It is a university hospital affiliated to Fudan University Shanghai Medical College. The hospital is located in Minhang District with an outpatient clinic located in Xuhui District. It has been consistently ranked as the top children's hospital in China, and the first children's hospital in Asia to be accredited by Joint Commission International. In January 2017, the hospital, along with the Shanghai Children's Medical Center, was designated as the National Children's Medical Center (Shanghai), which will be located at a new campus in the Shanghai International Medical Zone in Pudong.

Waihuanlu (simplified Chinese: 外环路; traditional Chinese: 外環路; pinyin: Wàihuán Lù), literally Outer Ring Road, is a station on Line 1 of the Shanghai Metro. This station is part of the southern extension of that line that opened on 28 December 1996, and is located near the crossing of two major elevated highways. This makes the station often used by travelers to and from the southern outskirts of the city.

Jinjiang Park (simplified Chinese: 锦江乐园; traditional Chinese: 錦江樂園; pinyin: Jǐnjiāng Lèyuán) is a station on Shanghai Metro Line 1. Before April 19, 2001 it was known as Hongmei Road station which is now the name of a different station on Line 12. The station is part of the first southern extension of the line which opened on 10 April 1995. During the time the metro line was open for public testing this station was the southern terminus. Later three more stations were added to the south of this station: Lianhua Road, Waihuanlu and Xinzhuang.

The East China University of Science and Technology (ECUST; Chinese: 华东理工大学; pinyin: Huádōng Lǐgōng Dàxué) is a public university located in Shanghai, China. It is affiliated with the Ministry of Education. The university is part of Project 211 and the Double First-Class Construction. Established in 1952 as East China Institute of Chemical Technology, it has evolved from an institution with a strong focus on chemical engineering into a university that covers a wide range of academic disciplines.

East China University of Science and Technology (simplified Chinese: 华东理工大学; traditional Chinese: 華東理工大學; pinyin: Huádōng Lǐgōng Dàxué), formerly known as Bose Road (Chinese: 百色路; pinyin: Bósè Lù), is a metro station on the Line 15 of the Shanghai Metro. Located at the intersection of Laohumin Road, Bose Road, and Meilong Road in Xuhui District, Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 by the end of 2020. However, the station eventually opened on 23 January 2021 following a one-month postponement. The station is located between Shanghai South Railway Station to the north and Luoxiu Road to the south. It is named after the nearby East China University of Science and Technology main campus.

Xinzhuang (simplified Chinese: 莘庄; traditional Chinese: 莘莊; pinyin: Xīnzhuāng) is an interchange station on the Shanghai Metro. It is the southern terminus of Line 1 and the northern terminus of Line 5. It is one of the busiest stations in the Shanghai Metro, serving 230,000 passengers every day. Both Line 1 and Line 5's stations have two side platforms and two tracks, with a wall separating the Line 1 and the Line 5 platforms. The station opened on Line 1 on 28 December 1996, with the Line 5 interchange having opened on 25 November 2003.

On June 28, 2018, in the Xuhui District of Shanghai, China, three boys and a female parent were stabbed with a knife near the gate of the West Campus of the Shanghai World Foreign Language Primary School at Pubei Road, Shanghai. Two boys who attended died, and another student and parent were injured. The suspect, Huang Yichuan, was arrested by the Procuratorate the next day.On December 6, 2018, the first trial of the case was held. The murder was found to be the result of the defendant's hopelessness for life and his desire for revenge on society. The prosecutor pointed out that Huang Yichuan had schizophrenia. On May 23, 2019, The First Intermediate People's Court of Shanghai decided that Huang's mental illness did not affect his ability to control his own behavior. The court then imposed the death penalty, as well as depriving his political rights for life. On December 30, 2019, the Shanghai Senior People's Court rejected the appeal on Huang Yichuan's ruling, upheld the original judgment, and submitted it to the Supreme People's Court for approval. On December 3, 2020, Huang Yichuan was executed.

Located at the intersection of Laohumin Road and Luoxiu Road in Xuhui District, Shanghai, the station was scheduled to open with the rest of Line 15 by the end of 2020. The station is located between East China University of Science and Technology to the north and Zhumei Road to the south.
